Robbie Neilson is back

Really happy with his return. Will be good to see what he can do without Levein interfering. Also for me shows Scotland how big a club Hearts are that he would leave Dundee Utd who are in the process of being promoted to join Hearts who are potentially but hopefully not, going the other way.

So you think Stendel took us “a massive step backwards”???

IMO a massive step backwards would have been if we had been top six when he arrived and took us down to the bottom.

He lost nearly half of his league matches and two of those we drew, Hamilton and Saints away, we were extremely lucky.

There was a wee resurgence thst coincided with the return of key players who had been out for lengthy absences.

His two wins against The Rangers were memorable victories however, we played them during their worst run of the season. I think those wins flattered him a bit.

Strong whiff there, to be honest - i.e.in the post you're quoting..

Agreed but the sad reality is that there’ll no doubt be an element of the hearts support, hopefully a really small minority mind you that will share that view.

We have a decent manager in place. Like I said, doubly pleasing.

I notice the usual suspects jumping on the Neg Train.

I suspect that Robbie and Anne both love hearts, and have a shared morality and vision,

Fundee Utd are *****😤 and don’t fit that picture in that arse end post whaling apocalypse slum town to nowhere they reside in

Not to mention pumping Hibs at ER - that was extremely flattering! 👍

Zeefuik or Sow possibly

Though Ive heard its really Shankland.

But then Perry Kitchen knew how to point at things so it could be him as you cant direct if you cant point.

Perry was a world class pointer with both hands.

Who was it with no Sporting Director currently at our club?

Even if or when we hire a Sporting Director, the manager now reports directly to Budge alongside the SD. She made that clear before hiring Stendel.

It reads like there was a clause in his contract

A relegation clause that lets you go to a "relegated" club 🤣

D Utd are going to be in some financial doo-doo not matter the outcome of the court case. They went into a lot of debt to give Neilson the kind of budget we can finance in a sustainable way.

That was a fantastic performance and he deserves full credit. His team destroyed them.

Tbf, he was also unlucky against Aberdeen at home.

It’s an important question. Hopefully it’s all answered and it was the SD which green lit the appointment.

Ann really isn’t the one who should be making footballing decisions. Especially handing out multi year contracts when she may not be at the club in a few months.

The answer is obviously Levein...getting unveiled as our new Sporting Director in the morning...

This last couple of months I’ve never heard or seen our support so United and getting that siege mentality back we’d been lacking!!!

this in my opinion drives a bit of a wedge into that.

Amazing how Levein gets blamed for Neilsons horrendous style yet the United fans moan about the exact same thing. Strange that.

I think the club already has the SD lined up. Not sure why we did this slightly out of the order we were planning but things change.

I dont agree, i think it was a very small group that wanted Robbie out. The guys who hired the plane ( those 40+year old muppets who still hang around grooming the young team) where a small minority, they where pissed that some of the young team got banned from tynecastle by Queen Ann and also because we lost a couple of games to the hobo's.

You clearly want someone to say Levein so I reckon maybe Levein.

So, the support was united for about a week !! Split half and half on this appointment and at each other’s throats again no doubt

Not sure what to make of this. First thought is Ann Budge going back to what she knows, even if some of it wasn’t great. Like a bad marriage.

He’ll be a better manager than when he left. He’ll need to be. He’ll get a chance but if he bottles it against Hibs one more time he’ll be slaughtered.

At last someone you know will deliver results, even though not easy in the eye. After the shambles of Levein, the language teacher and then Stendel, this is a breath of fresh air.

Why would you let it drive a wedge?

A bit selfish if people do
