Friends with a lassie

Ked

Recommended Posts

Mates laddie is going out with a lassie for 3 years.

Nice couple just tell they're good.

However .

Lassie has a new pal .

Met at work.

Mates laddie is wound up.

What advice do you give my mates laddie?

And can you ever really be mates with a lassie?

The new pal is a laddie .

If he can’t trust her then he shouldn’t be in a relationship until he is mature enough to trust his partner. And if she cheats then she’s not for him.

Sounds harsh but it’s fair advice

Bingo!!

My best friend is a lassie, been friends for 38 years, jumping into bed with each other would probably ruin that.

Tell him to sort himself out. I'm assuming he's not told her he's wound up by it?

I've told my mate my opinion.

Not my place to say to his boy.

I'd personally tell him to confront the work "pal" who imo needs slapped before someone dangerous gets a hold of him.

Plus then if the lassie insists punt her.

I couldn't tell you my impression of the situation more than that.

If you’re mates son is getting wound up about his girlfriend having mates at her work, then he sounds like a bit of a controlling prat.

He can’t control who his gf is pals with or speaks to.

Maybe he trusts her but doesn't trust him! Why would he? He doesn't know him.

He should lick her face in front of this new lad to assert dominance. He has to maintain eye contact with him while he does it. That's a very important bit.

Tell your mates boy to announce to his gf that he has a new bestie at work and they're of the female persuasion, see if it's still fine and dandy.

When you say pal at work, do they go for drinks after work? If so are they with others? Or just pals at work, in the office or wherever. I suppose with mobiles and social media it's easier to be in touch with work pals outside of work.

So this other lad deserves a slap for having a female friend who has a boyfriend? FFS it’s not the caveman era anymore!

Most likely it's nothing beyond work based friendship.

He needs to be told to think calmly  ,jealousy and insecurities of your partner might not just destroy this relationship but him ever having a good relationship.

If he goes threatening the guy to stay away and she finds out he will be definatly be dumped .

you're pathetic, suggesting violence because she has a male work friend. Maybe the girlfriend should quit her job and only do housework

Second thoughts,,,na fe k her and her male mate, get on tinder. Too young to be settling down with a bint, especially one that has no consideration for a man's ego. Shove hour modern woke man and be a real man. It's never " just a mate"

Best solution is just to accept things and go for a threesome, imo.

Jake thinks the ‘pal’ needs a slap before ‘someone dangerous’ gets a hold of him?

Men and women can be colleagues . They cannot ever be platonic friends .

there is always something on one side or the other.

Unless he is gay.

Would you be happy with your wife going out for a coffee or the cinema with a male hetero friend ?

there is your answer

Some men don't need anyone, just like me. I could ofcourse find a partner but I'm not looking. It's a very sensible decision these days women expect to much

If they’re just chatting at work who cares but given you’re saying they ‘met’ at work, insinuates this is carrying on outside of work. If they’re meeting up outside of work and your mate’s son is deliberately excluded from this activity then it’s over already imo. Nobody needs a ‘slap’, or whatever. Just an explanation to the burd that he has boundaries in his relationships and this crosses them. Then quietly work on himself, forgive and forget, and learn from the experience.

This.
Girls can have male pals but you try telling your bursd or Mrs you’re texting “your pal” who happens to be a lassie and see what she reckons

Your mates laddie sounds like a wee prick. Hope the boy at work rattles the life out the lassie and your wee wank of a pal has to settle for sloppy seconds.
