It's incredible to think that just back up the road next to the library at McDonald rd there was a 2nd petrol station as well ( shell I think) on leith walk . Tazio Posted September 21, 2018 Share Posted September 21, 2018 The Shrubhill photo has the Shrubhill Garage on the left, it wasn't a depot but the service centre where all the major servicing on buses was carried out, and all the admin offices were. The depot on Annandale Street was Central garage. The Masonic Social Club is behind it down a long lane parallel with the railway lines. The pub in front was The Halfway House.
