Tsonga a break up in the third set...not that it'll do him much use in the grand scheme of things I wouldn't think.

:what:

Mr Romanov Saviour of HMFC

If Tsonga can stay injury free and keep his form he'll maybe have a chance of making the later stages.

:pleasing:

Indeed it's always fantastic to see that tosser lose. This was one of his more spectacular

defeats.

Superb stuff

If Nadal somehow managed to lose now the papers would go mad

And Murray would be nailed on to get beat in the semis

Loads of empty green seats at the Murray match, ring any bells? :whistling:

Seriously though, why is the arena half empty?

They'll all be stocking up on strawberries and cream after the Fed match.

Tsensational from tsonga today.

I'd just like to reiterate a FACT END OF - Murray will never win a grand slam.

Court 1 was about 40% empty at the end of Nadal's first set. There's about a 20 minute turnaround between one match ending and the next beginning; I can't believe how so many folk fail to squeeze in a pish and a pint in that time.

Jesus, I'd squeeze in at least 3 or 4 pints, and a couple of pishes in that time!

I'd imagine the 45 mins queuing for said pint may be the problem!

That's what your empty pint pot's for.

The beer service at Wimbledon's pretty good to be fair. I reckon it's more that there's about 40% of folk attending Wimbledon who are unappreciative jerkoffs.

Nadal's not being stretched at all. Two sets up and taken a break with the first game of the third.

edit: no sooner written than Fish gets two break points on the Nadal serve and evens up the set!!

I'm crap at this!

The winner will be from Murray and Nadal....

I like bold predictions.

Haven't seen other matches, but have heard Fed has gone....hopefully it's on iplayer.

If I was Murray, I wouldn't even bother playing - i'd just hand nadal a straight sets win and dispense with the formalities.

Never know what to think about Andy Murray.

Should we be appreciative of how easily he continually seems to cruise to the semis of grand slams?

Or is it really just a case of no depth in the mens game?

There are plenty of good men's players and he's clearly better than most. But he's in the second tier of the elite IMO, behind roj, nads and the lunatic Serb. I think del potro at his best is a better player

that was good from murray. a break there could have proved a real turning point. especially now that he's got a niggle.

That's some pretty good consistency :)

he's going to have to dispense with the passive type of tennis he can drift into at times for the next match. nadal is just too good and powerful to allow to get into and dictate rallies. he'll basically have to go in swinging at everything in sight and just hope for the best. the serve will have to be as good as it's ever been as well.

Interviewer calling him a hypochondriac.

Aye, that was a bit of an unnecessary comment.

Don't think Andy was too impressed!

Strolled it, always had more in the tank if needed. For all the talk of Lopez serve, Murray battered most of them back at him.

He might not win, but he's building momentum and form in exactly the way you need to in a slam.

He's one of the best in his sport..

I want him to get to the Final.

He'll need to beat Nadal in the Semi.....

Winner will be from that semi.
