Mick’s revelling in life as a media personality, he’s never off the telly.

Be on Strictly next and then maybe get a spot on Cash in the Attic.

He's trying to improve the lot of the people he represents, I couldn't really care less what else he's up to.

Come to think of it, he probably earns more in his RMT role than the even the BBC would pay.

Good, he's doing what he's paid for. And a YouTube chat is hardly revelling in some make believe media personality, the crayon munchers like to bullshit about. I take it Piers Morgan is your idol. Go Trump, Go Brexit, Go Tory, Go mega dividends. Weirdos.

Mick Lynch has an annual salary of £84k, to even break into the top 15 highest earners at the BBC you need to be on at least £325k annually.

Result in from the  SECOND Postal  Strike Action (RM), and Communications(BT), union .

Looks like its a second big yess, (GTF), vote.

Wow - incredible.

With just 5 working days notice to mobilise 115,000 members across 1,500 workplaces for the second national ballot in a month we have absolutely smashed it again.

72.2% Turnout

98.7 % YES

Fantastic result.

And yesterday, UNITE confirmed that thousands of BA employees will receive a 13% pay rise following their strike action. Some on here will be crying themselves to sleep tonight.

Well done comrades and more to come. The trickle is about to become a flood, hopefully.

He’s worth every penny as far as his members are concerned, especially given how effective he has been.

Unite members at Royal mail are not going on strike they are not party to this dispute.

Royal Mail has made no secret of it's intentions to use other employees to minimise the impact of the upcoming CWU industrial action.

The Unite Union condemns this deliberate policy of setting one group of employees against another, the CWU is duty bound to do everything in their power to support their members legitimate grievances over pay and Unite supports their endeavours to do so.

Royal Mail's strike breaking plan is not backed by Unite.

That's now three people I've seen on the telly, at a railway station, saying “ it's pretty quiet..”

Aye, well it will be as there is a strike on, ya turnips !

https://www.theguardian.com/business/2022/aug/21/journalists-at-rightwing-daily-express-set-to-strike-over-pay

'The Daily Express has repeatedly warned its readers that “militant trade unions” are bringing Britain to its knees – but this week many of the newspaper’s own staff will go on strike in protest at the outlet’s low pay.

They will join journalists at sister outlets including the Daily Mirror, the Daily Star and dozens of local newspapers in striking on Friday. It marks the start of a month of industrial action designed to disrupt production at the news outlets, which are all owned by publishing giant Reach.

Although one journalist at the titles acknowledged that a rightwing anti-union newspaper going on strike is a “satirist’s dream”, they insisted there is solidarity between unionised staff across all of Reach’s titles, regardless of their political stance. Members of the National Union of Journalists voted to go on strike after rejecting bosses’ offer of a 3% pay rise as not enough to cope with the cost of living crisis.'

The service is normally so bad that you can hardly notice the strikes.

Criminal barristers on strike indefinitely.

Courts were already backlogged for years. Conviction rates at historic lows. Good time to be a criminal in the UK right now. And this is after twelve years of rule by the "party of law and order".

No doubt the Junta will rush through “Three Strikes And You’re Out” legislation to enable these ‘militant’ Lefty lawyers to be ‘transported’ to Rwanda. Problem solved.

The list of workers planning on going on strike grows by the day, the government surely must realise that it's not simply a case of a few lefty militant unions, but a much wider issue of genuine fear and despair of not having a enough money to live on.

When your on £82k+ a year it's easy to not be concerned about rising inflation, fuel & energy prices, and say what 'cost of living crisis', all you need to do is get a better paid job, work more hours or switch to shop's own brands, it's that simple, and that shows how completely out of touch they are.

It's not the government's responsibility to give you job security. Especially in the private sector.

Lefty militant unions ?

That sounds as if it's right out the Daily Heil.

I'm glad that people have collectively found a voice and VOTED to say enough is enough.

If dopey gets the gig, which looks likely, it will bring it to a head.

Let's see who lasts longer. I know where my money's on !

Good news but no option really. Would lose every last bit of public support.
