The point was more, last seasons flops got 2 wins at Easter road under both Levein and stendel... who cares? Good on the day,  but the bigger picture just overwhelmed it so it became a total irrelevance.

I'm not seeing those 9/10 signs to be honest, we're in a shite league playing shite teams with a massive budget compared to the rest of them and we're still having squeeky bum times.

Hope I'm missing something but I didn't expect to come on to a thread about Neilson and see posts about Jack Ross. Top of the league, playing decent football and seconds from winning the Scottish Cup Final. This team playing as they were last season would've been relegated from the championship. Neilson came in, arrested the rot and while there are still areas to fix is undoubtedly the man for the job.

What Bongo fails to realise and accept is that had DS managed to beat 10 men Hamilton at Tynecastle, avoided defeat in Hamilton, avoided defeat in Paisley in what was our most important game since May 2012, or hadn’t had his pants pulled down v Hibs at new year, or not conceded 3 in Perth, or 3 at home to Kilmarnock.... he may have been given an opportunity to continue as manager.

 

Unfortunately for us all, Daniel Stendel failed and all of the above DID happen.

We are top of our league by a good margin right now, tit will become a vast gap.

Robbie is fulfilling his job details.

Create a winning side that fights ,win the points to get us back to the SPL.

This is where we are at right now, it will change.

Apart from a couple of games, Robbie has been good for us.

Fair do's but it's top of the championship, not playing decent football and the cup was from last season.

I completely respect your opinion GBB but I've lived in a few different countries (and supported the local team!😀) the top 10-15 teams in most of the European leagues would skoosh it in Scotland

 

They use clear and well drilled tactics and that's what I think is missing in Scotland

And as for the semi final. We were the team in the league below. Neilson had to balance the books and sell/release a host of first team players. Neilson was 3 months behind in preparations. The game was in the balance and NEILSON changed the game by making changes to personnel and shape. Jack Ross didn’t know what to do.

 

Im not even a massive Neilson fan, but trying to down play our semi final result just makes you look even more pathetic.
