At some point though you have to accept that he will be here for at least the start of next season, so winding yourself up about him leaving will do no good, so get behind the team?

I've accepted he's staying.

Never been wound up about it, and always get behind the team.

'The Tackle' will be going no where any time soon. Next season the premier league will be very competitive I am sure we will get top 6 but we should be aiming for 3rd and a cup run. I'm not his biggest fan but I don't hate the guy. By Christmas if we are not in the top 6 and been beating by Hibs he should be sacked but I have a feeling we will be fine next season and the core of players we have are better than many teams currently in the SPL

‘The Tackle’ sounds like some weird porn nickname.

If Hibs win the Cup and Neilson is to blame, does he get the credit if they don't? 😊

I still don't believe we're going anywhere good with Budge/Neilson but they are the reality of HMFC 2021.

Still undecided about renewing but I am sick and tired of arguing and going around in circles on this thread.

No hard feelings from me toward anyone I have disagreed with.

Absolutely none.

Pinning my hopes now on a bloody good window. Hopefully RN proves myself and the majority wrong when the real stuff starts in July after this Euro nonsense is over.

So long to this thread and thanks for all the fish.

You went from proclaiming Bob's upward projectory, to calling for his sacking after Brora, then quickly moved on to trying to ridicule anyone that didn't flip flop as fast as you.

The league wasn't in doubt when you wanted him sacked, so it's a flimsy excuse for your spectacular volte-face.

You've made over 600 posts on a thread where you apparently only agreed with the title for a few days. Remind me who's angry again?

I've flip flopped over my 600 posts then fair enough.

Folk can make thier own conclusions, some think I'm a happy clapper, some think I'm in some sort of defence league or a shill, you think I've flip flopped.

Fair enough.

I'll back almost every Hearts manager while they are managing us, I'll back the Bobmeister now.

If he gets binned I'll back the next man. I don't think that's a difficult logic to follow.

No anger here, I'm looking forward to getting behind Bobmeister and the team next season and seeing them in action for the first time in over a year.

Cannae wait Tbh- new signings, promotion, dishing out medicine.

In other words you don’t really care about the gross mismanagement and current decline of our club. You just want to get behind whatever managers in charge at the time, no matter how poor they are.

I've said lots and lots of times that he could be sacked and given the Brora result it could be justified, but if he's kept on it is also justified.

Laid out that logic several times.

If he is sacked, I'll support the next guy in charge.

If he's not sacked then I'll get behind him and the team.

Just because I don't call him khnicknames and get all in a fret about everything he says is not a defence, it is just balance.

The league and beating hibs in the first sf was imo the top 2 priorities ( many agreed at the time) so have a little heavier weighting, although getting knocked out by Brora was horrific.

So on balance-2 positive, 2 negative.

Hardly a ringing endorsement, but definitely not a guaranteed sacking.

True, but an even worse scenario would be doing shit and sticking with him. Whatever way you cut it and whatever your view is of him staying for now, he MUST get off to a flyer next season or he’s gone by match day 11. To me that’s the absolute last point at which we could make a change and save a season.

Surely you have to mention the mind numbing tedious play also. Without thinking it was going to be a cake walk we approached games  v far less equipped  teams with an almost defensive slat. I agree the two objectives were gained but it was painful. Then the two cup losses v part time teams??? Has to be sacking territory surely , not to mention the good will eroding daily with the fans. Whatever opinion is AB and RN have lost the fans IMHO so change is needed

Which I find bizarre that some keep banging their heads against a wall with their agenda when its clear to anyone with half a brain that we aren't going to change the manager any time soon.  It had to be after the Brora result if ever it was going to happen.

Now its going to be decided on how we get on next season, which looks increasingly like it will still be at empty stadiums at least until Christmas.

Don't shoot the messenger, it wasn't me who said he should be sacked at the end of the season if needs be.

As I said on the previous page I accept Neilson is staying, and I hope the experience of this season can be a turning point for him.

Tbh, I can't be any clearer than what I previously posted.

I think, Purley in terms of kpi's he's just passed.

If it was a scale of 1-5, he's got a 3 overall.

Objectives achieved but improvement required particularly in regards to the cups.

No love or hate either way.

Just do it!

If need be

Results based includes all competitons, I was a little bit pissed off after the Brora result but you can't run a business and a team on emotions.

If he was sacked after the Broro game, I'd have supported the decision.

Ann is not an emotional wreck, however and doesn't make changes without due  thought or planning.

She's kept him on, I'll get behind him.

If he gets sacked now or in the future, I'll move on and support the next man.

And that comes down to how you define ‘poorly’ I suppose. The sackable type of poorly for me would be bottom 4 after 11 matches. He’ll not be sacked if we’re within striking distance  or even up there top six. Top six isn’t hugely ambitious for us normally but we’ve become an unambitious club of late so he’ll get away with stating that as a target and counting it as a success . Top 4 would be remarkable but I highly doubt we’ll get that high

We were 16 points ahead when you said he should be sacked, this reduced to 12 at the end of the season. So the case for keeping him across all competitions got weaker.

Is this you using logic again?

You should maybe get adult supervision before you try that in the future.

Another wee subtle deflection from your actual position of calling for him to get his jotters.

All fair.

I think we'll be comfortable in the top 6 and top 4 isn't beyond us.

Without knowing the team or fixtures I don't know how the first set of results will go, but either way I agree I think he needs a good start.

Firstly we need to get out the lc group stages, has been a slog in recent years, getting papped out of that woykd be a shitter. More chance of that than us being low in the league..... 🙄

I'll leave this conversation here as clearly you are after more  than a discussion about the Bobmeister.

I've explained myself as you correctly pointed out through numerous postings on here, if you think I've flip flopped and I wanted Robbie out, then feel free to think that.

I've explained my position as clearly as I can, if you don't understand it, then fair enough.

I'd say I have been pretty consistent over my posts with a heavy bias for supporting the current manager, but you feel free to make your own conclusions, including adult supervision required.

I'm not after anything. 🤣

I'm not fussed whether you or anybody else wants Neilson kept or sacked, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but you were running around the thread abusing folk that didn't share your opinion.

You certainly seem to have toned down your 'awbody oot' and calling folk 'kneejerk' banter since I pointed out what you actually posted on this thread.

Coincidence no doubt. 😉

Eh? Those with an "agenda" eg wanting RN removed should pipe down because the club aren't going to do anything ? What a philosophy that is.

I want him removed asap , I'll keep saying so , hopefully others who feel likewise will do likewise because one thing is for sure,  saying nothing is just want Budge wants and takes the pressure off her too.

Ditto. When the noise quietens down people begin to think all is well, it’s not. I’ll get a big drum with Neilson Out on it and bang it like feck until he’s eventually punted, and I’ll apologise to no-one for that.

More cash need's ploughed in to support Robbie IMO.

He's done a good job when you consider how low our budget is compared to the rest of the championship teams.
