I remember it being FACTS, but could only remember what the F and S stood for, so I cheated and looked it up.

FACTS (Face covering, Avoid Crowds, Clean hands, Two meter distance, Self isolate)

You aren't protected anymore according to the vaccine propaganda.

It's almost as if they didn't have a scooby what they were talking about.

That's an extrapolation from sample surveillance testing.  Not actual positive tests.  👍

3 out of our group of 4 that have season tickets together have had it again. I'm currently positive. Bad flu like symptoms reckon I got it at rosenborg game as tested positive monday.

More of it about at work but twice I've caught it at the footy haha.

Over 18s in England should now go back to staying at home for 5 days after your first positive test. No change in Scotland as far as I can see.

Can't find that being reported anywhere

I don't think testing is even a thing in England anymore

Do you have a link?

Weirdly, you don't have to take a test if you have symptoms, but if you do take a test and test positive, you should isolate for 5 days from the 1st day of testing positive. Appears to also be the guidance now in Scotland.

That's the general NHS advice that's been around for a while.

When I read your original post, I thought something had changed regarding the UK government

Didn't know that. I just assumed it was the "If you feel well enough to work, go to work."

The only reason I posted it is my work are now saying we should follow the 5 day rule, as opposed to coming in if we feel well enough.

One thing that I hope we've learned from COVID is not to play the wounded soldier and go into work if your loaded with the cold or similar and pass it on to your work colleagues.

Drives me  bananas when someone comes into the office and is coughing or sniffing and snorting every two minutes.

Dicks!

It's reasonable to expect people to exercise the personal responsibility they allegedly always possesed to avoid contact with others whilst unwell or while showing clear cold symptoms.  Certainly those who can.  By no means can everyone.  Many people are likely to suffer a financial cost and/or have little choice but to go about their activities.

Access to plentiful,  free of charge test kits would go a long way to enabling people to make good choices.  But the wisdom of the day was to ditch that.  A political choice of course.

I take it Leitch and all his ilk have enjoyed their wee break from the media spotlight and are now thinking about getting a few more pennies in before Christmas.

Sure we’ll see that Edinburgh Uni bird Devi back in the news before too long telling us the sky is falling once again.

most people and probably all were duped to a greater or less degree last time(s)

I reckon it will be a more difficult sell this time around which is a bit worrying for the few rules / guidance which were actually making a positive difference

Nor did it help that the clowns at the very top like Johnson were also flouting the rules.

Although more fool those who actually expected the ‘elites’ to have to put restrictions on their activities.

You think they get paid extra for TV appearances? 🤣

My work sent out an email yesterday confirming that we specifically should no longer test ourselves and that if we get it we should treat it as any other illness and stay off work if we are too ill.

No, but I’m sure their high-profile over the last 3.5 years won’t do their earning potential any harm.

🤣
