If she/the board were going to ditch CL it would have been in the summer . Given the ridicule she's received over the "lightbulb moment" appointment of CL , she is never going to face more ridicule by sacking him with a year still left on his ludicrous 3 year contract. Short of getting the club relegated , he's here until the end of the season. He'll continue the injuries mantra but has now shown he will throw the players under the bus to add weight to his "it's not my fault, Ann" defence. You just have to take a look at Millwall. Neil Harris a Millwall legend, resigned this week after their poor start to the season. And in the first game since that they beat Leeds. The guy like Levein loves his club but he was clever enough to know that he'd done all he can and for the good of the team he stepped down. That's what a manager who loves his team does. Their poor run of results hasn't been going on for more than year either, yet he recognised that he could be putting them into trouble if he stayed.
