276-6 mmm....honours even I'd say, Buble.

Listen here, Abramovich, you know as well as I do that I do not look like Michael Buble.

Johnson 39.

c Prior b Broad

England failed to capitalise on their decent start yesterday but need to get them out asap. Their batting will still be shite though so probably won't make much difference.

Edit: Smith out 111

Harris 12

Another wicket for Broad.

Time for England's batsmen to turn to something less than shite.

England really need to hold out to lunch in half an hour without losing a wicket.

Good morning sir

had a sleep, now ready for some good batting

Don't want to tempt fate but I think Harris and Johnson look tired. Hopefully the furnace heat reduces their speed too, even with the Doctor blowing.

England need to concentrate against Lyon. They've done the hard work seeing off Johnson.

I think Lyon is mediocre but England seem to struggle against him.

That is a joke of a decision. Nothing on hot spot. Snicko shows a noise after the ball passes the bat and he still gives it out!

What is the point of using technology then not believing it!

KP has actually remembered to bat for the team here.

He has. Only a matter of time until he plays a rash shot though.

Absolutely crucial moment in the series here ... England 'only' need 2 wins from the last 3 tests remember ... so they can give themselves a chance.

I think it may be game over for England. Can't see them getting close to Australia's total now.

All out for less than 250 I reckon. Be happy to be proved wrong.

229 - 8 looks like you could be right about the getting around 250

For all the hype about Johnson, the real star of the Aussie bowling has been Harris. He's the one working over the top order and forcing mistakes. Johnson has cleaned up the tail.

Meanwhile, Anderson, Broad et al are quite adept at getting top order wickets and then tiring.

Only hope here is for England is to skittle the Aussies out for under 120. Batting last on a track that is becoming crazy paving will be a nightmare.

The whole series has been an embarrassment for the England batsmen.

Series looking over before the boxing day test.

I actually look forward to the lunchtime chat on TMS to get away from the shambles in the batting order

How radical can the changes be for the next test. Will it start with the management or captain as the morale and direction of this team is non existent

I'm assuming Broad is out, for not being able to walk.

Cook

Carberry

Bell

Ballance

Root

Bairstow

Stokes

Prior

Bresnan

Swann

Anderson

KP can GTF

What about Prior does he deserve to keep his place.Swann too offered nothing this series

Too many old guard within their comfort zone

Only because I don't trust Bairstow with the gloves. If Monty played ahead of Swann it wouldn't bother me.

Finn might add bit pace and height. Problem is with the batting though not giving the bowlers a rest.

Prior dropping again after missing a stunning

Time for him to go.

Fantastic stat there on Sky - Cook and Clark combined 200 Test Matches, 51 hundreds and nearly 16000 Test runs.

Sachin Tendulkar 200 Tests, 51 hundreds and 2 more runs than Cook and Clark combined!

Shambles of a tour. I stand by what I said earlier - England have convinced themselves that they're the bees knees when in actual fact they're nothing of the sort.

:Agree:

And KP thought he was the bees knees long beforehand.

Kerry O'Keefe on the ABC just said about England that they can't bat, their best bowler is injured and their keeper is a Venus flytrap!
