CJGJ Posted May 22, 2011 Share Posted May 22, 2011 Speculation is rife but can we always remember that there will be list of around 10-15 players who will all be subject to talks with agents and much will depend upon firstly those leaving us and then secondly the various offers players and agents will receive. Any decent manager and chief executive will have their lists of players and will react to events or pre-empt events (e.g players leaving) -- this means we will be in touch with many players most of whom will not be signed unless certain events take place. Of course this does not stop the agents and indeed the clubs leaking interest but making it seem as though interest is certain to lead to an offer -- this can boost the interest and financial package for the player and or club.
