only if you illegally download it ::troll:::'>

went to see "killing them softly" last night, 7/10 great cast and it reminded me of "drive" mainly due to the style of filming and the dialogue, quote of the film goes to james gandolfini but its probably a little rude for JKB :woot:

Looper - was really looking forward to this and the first hour was great. Lost its way in the middle and ended up being pretty dull. Disappointing. 6/10

Harry Brown 7/10

Michael Caine stars as a former marine who seeks some vigilante justice against the youths who terrorise the local area and who murdered his best friend.

Taken 2 5/10

Taken was the perfect hollywood action blockbuster, unfortunatley they have cashed in on its sucess with a sequel containing a paper thin plot, Istanbul is the perfect setting for the film but the storyline should've been re-written as it was very weak. Dissapointing

I must be the complete opposite to you.

Looper wasn't very good, maybe a 5/10

and Will Ferrell is shite, but I can't give marks on his films because I don't watch them.

Seen quite a few films in the last week or so:

Drive: it was okay, not as good as the hype suggested - 6/10

Moneyball: I loved it. An excellent (and true) story, and some great performances. Thoroughly enjoyable even if, like me, you know next to nothing about baseball - 9/10

Other Guys: up there with the better Will Ferrell films, hilarious - 8/10

Sinister: a creepy cinema experience, although many of the 'scares' are pretty cheap. Definitely worth a watch - 7/10.

Agreed. Type of film you'd only watch once, as once you know when/what the creepy bits are, it would be pretty poor. As a first time watch, pretty jumpy/scary. I really enjoyed it and I dont usually do Horror films. 8/10

Casino Royale 8/10 Daniel Craig is pretty much perfect as Bond.Give him decent filns and he will go down as the best ever.Such a shame Quantam Of Solace was ruined by the writers strike.Looking forward to Skyfall next week.

Warrior

as a movie its not great, but just like Bronson, Tom Hardy's performance elevates it to another level, IMO. That guy could make a film about paint drying interesting

Skyfall is getting some amazing reviews - with Sam Mendes in charge, it could easily turn out to be the best Bond ever.

Jackpot - decent Norwegian black comedy based on a Jo Nesbo story. You can see the ending coming a mile off but that's not really the point. 7/10

The Bomber 8-10

A Russian made film based on a story about a bomber crew sent out to send aid to guerillas during WW2 destroy German missles. It has an ongoing love story and betrayal of friendship. A good film even though its 3 hours long but it has been cut down from an 8 part series.

Dominion: Prequel to the Exorcist: Years before Father Lancaster Merrin helped save Regan MacNeil's soul, he first encounters the demon Pazuzu in East Africa. Merrin's initial battle with Pazuzu leads to the rediscovery of his faith.

Sounds cheery i know but loved the first Exorcist film.
