Yes well its not unique to football. Think of all the lesbian tennis players? Where are the gay ones? There must be some surely ?

Clearly, competitive sport doesn't appeal to the gay (male) community. That can be the only explanation.

I don’t think he has ever advocated discrimination against Trans…… merely that some spaces should be reserved for same sex.

As a dude, I’m not allowed in those spaces- clearly discriminatory on sex grounds - but I understand it and why it is so.

My neighbour's aunt was employed by the Manchester clubs in the early 80s to be "seen" out and about with certain gay players.

It'd be nice to think we've moved on, but we probably haven't.

It amazes me that women have the audacity to speak about concerns over womens rights, how dare they.

I don't know why it is, prejudice and the fear of it I suspect, and you're absolutely right about all of being more tolerant, you should try it, I'm sure women would love to see you not forcing men into their safe spaces for a start.

Why are women feeling threatened by transwomen? How do they even know when a transwomen enters their "safe space"? Are they asking if they've got meat and two veg? They're not being attacked if that's what you're saying.

Exactly.  It should be up to men to decide what people should be in  " only womens spaces" really ! well that seems to be the logic.

Why did you stop before this bit? I bet it doesn't include a transwoman needing a pee.

It is worth noting that the legal bar for this is incredibly high.

I've asked several times without answer what women rights, safety and dignity are being breached.

Have you got any examples?

Why should I be launched? Is it a one sided debate?

He's actually asked "are women being attacked by trans people (men)"!!!

Do women really need to be being attacked to deserve safe spaces? Safe spaces for woman are there so they not under threat of attack surly??

That's a ridiculous argument, women are not being attacked by transwomen anywhere, there is no need to make these places you talk about "safe" they already are

Unless you can provide some evidence which so far you haven't.

I've repeatedly answered you, it's women, as you well know, who are saying their righs being eroded, women! It's not up to me, a man, to tell women they are right or wrong, although you seem to think you're the very person to do that, it's good enough for me to believe womens concerns as I think they closer to the argument than me.

Life is truly a journey, I  can recall as a boy my mother throwing a tantrum becuase a male in a store she was using upset her, her rant about him being on of those queeries confused me. Later in life queer, ******, bum jockey are just some of the names I have heard referring to those of different practises. There is now almost an atmosphere of pride in saying I am gay. It would be like saying I am proud of being bald, is it not the claim that homosexuality is in one genes, so there is a actually nothing to be proud of, its just how you are. Its not to me like someone like King Wullie Bauld who was born with natural fitba, talent and made the best use he could of the talent, I was born masculine I was proud of my children but there coming to be was not a particular act of skill, though I must comment that my wife did think I was the best. Its 2022, not 1952, homosexuality is accepted, as is baldness, infidelity and other things that we either have no choice about or make a concious decision to do, enjoy the freedom but lets just accept it.

Thats it in a nutshell. He ( a man) thinks women do not need specialised places for them to feel safe. " Feel" being the important word here.

After yesterday's conversation I've asked another 6 women if they feel their sex based rights, like having female toilets are being eroded, every single one of them said no in fact 2 of them rightly said how the hell would they even know it was a transwoman.

That's 8, I'll let you know when I get to your magic number of 12 but I don't expect it to change. It's a made up imaginary problem.

There's a post on here with a link to a womens charity that you have claimed that all involved are bigots, these women are raising concerns over their rights being eroded, women saying their rights are being eroded, what bit about women being concerned about their rights don't you get?

Can you actually read? I've said the spaces you are talking about are already safe, women are not being attacked, there is no need to ban transwomen.

I can't dumb that down any further for you.
