Would Ian Gordon be even given an interview if he’d applied for this sort of job at a club his Dad didn’t own?

I wouldn’t have objected to the guy learning from an establishment team with a view to taking over in the future, but it’s just not a job for an enthusiastic amateur, not least one that will then likely be given way more leeway because of who he is rather than purely on performance.

Can anyone decipher?

Add in a big leather armchair and porteous performing foot stool duties and we've got this year's Christmas card

Interesting. Very loose grasp of the English language and staggeringly similar writing style to one of the most prominent numpties on here. The plot thickens ...

If it wasn’t for injury time goals that lot would be bottom, they’ve been nothing but spawny this season, they’ll sink to their natural level soon enough.

Exactly what I thought. Loopy Lee's App must have been working overtime - in his head - for that was a pretty quick response to deflect from one of his own club's angry supporters calling out the Hibs reality.

Well give us a clue then as it could be a number of suspected hobos?

It's pretty much exactly what Vlad did. Signed a load of random players, pumped money in, mouthed off about stuff although Vlad actually had a point rather than moan about early derbies etc.

The fact this boy is American will see him escape the scrutiny. Vlad got ridiculed by the media.

Vlad bought some high quality players early on though, and a high quality manager

Ron's gone all cheap and not so cheerful and the fans haven't shown any signs of 'ponying up' for better players.

42p and two empty bottles of buckfast was the latest count, so I believe.

His interview when he joined them was a big clue

Hibernian is the old Roman word for Ireland and Hibs are a bit like Celtic only smaller 😄

Clearly he knows just how good his current club aren't. He made a pretty good choice so he's no that daft.

to be fair to McGeady (saying that feels dirty) it was a 12 o'clock kick off for Celtic B, so he could still have gone to the hibs game at 3 (and probably did.) But I agree its not a good look.

Michael O’Neil next up?

Available free.

Played for Hibs.

May still have a home in Edinburgh?

He might expect full control of signings though, not that Hibs will be able to afford any decent players until they manage to move out the many poor ones they have signed since Gordon took over.

They are in a real mess, which was disguised by the luck they got against St Johnstone, Rangers and us.

It’s probably Porteous

I think whoever it was that shouted out at Johnson it wasn't Porteous. From what was evident in the highlights he didn't get anything right today, and shouty man was spot on. In fact, both he and Hanlon make even Toby Sibbick look like a world beating central defender. (Sorry Toby, but someone had to cop for it:notsure:)
