With the exception of folk making them available if they can't go, aye.

Just the 1 Derby next season.

Likely not be any public sale as presumably any that are available will be offered to Roseburn ST holders first.

I'd say so.

Those with ST's in Roseburn will get access to any seats spare in the other 3 stands before a general sale.

Going by last years two Hibs games at Tynie there was a very limited amount went on general sale and sold out very quickly and that was without ST holders in the Roseburn.

Getting a little concerned about walk-ups. I want to see a game in December!

Our only home game in December is against Killie on the 17th.  Unless we're having a crap season, I think this game will be in high demand as it's our first after the world cup break. I would imagine Killie will only get one section, and I reckon there should be at least 1,000-1,500 tickets available for the game, so it probably won't be too difficult to get a ticket as long as you don't leave it till the last minute, but I'd advise you to keep an eye on when individual match tickets go on sale and how quickly tickets do shift for that game!

Yes, guaranteed Scottish Cup tickets also.

No, they're not, they'll get priority for them ahead of any general sale though.

Hey all.

Wonder if anyone here knows when purchasing a season ticket if the child turns 16 during the season do they have to buy one for the age they will be or what age that are at the time of purchase and can you pay off the finance early.

When I bought my daughters a few seasons ago it was age at purchase

I don’t think it has changed

Definitely made the right decision to buy a season ticket for next season (I live in London so obviously won't make all the games).

I bought tickets for both home derbies last season. First one sold out in 5 minutes (red zones for Covid reduced availability) and second one sold out in about an hour (with no Covid restrictions).

Thanks for doing this. What do you base the capacities on in each stand? Do you know roughly how many hospitality seats are held back in each stand? I presume this is then deducted from the dots in that stand to give an estimated sales figure?

I essentially count the seats in each section, and remove seats that we're pretty sure are not for season ticket sale - eg the hospitality seats in Pr, R and S in the main stand, lower T (just the end section), the 120+ unsold seats in lower G of the Wheatfield, upper X in the Gorgie, and on it goes.

Once all that's done, I'm able to work out how many seats are probably made available for season ticket sales, and I add those up to get the total that I base my figures on.

it's not foolproof - we've seen before that the club has surprised us with seats popping up that we hadn't expected - but it should be pretty close within, let's say, 100-200.

Any chance you could provide a breakdown of the capacity for each section? Just curious about how much each stand holds.

Had a wee look at 9.15 this morning and thought there was actually loads of seats available. Back from work just now and had to do a double take. Can’t believe so many seats have been sold. Absolutely amazing 👏👏

We could well be looking at 16,000.  Fantastic.  With all that money, our mega bid for Porto is still on the cards.

I think to get to 16,000, we'd need to sell all the seats in Roseburn H & J. I think there's a fair chance we could do that.

Theres no need for that box to be sticking out at all and blocking fans views. Get the architect to redraw it and get it pushed right back or better still moved to somewhere else in the stadium.

Could be wrong but even with it all the way back the floodlight pylon would still be in the way, which the anti-corner filling bashers will tell you can’t be removed.

Don’t know if we sell tickets behind it full price or at all but we could consider selling them restricted view.

So are we saying that our technical limit on season tickets is 15,849... plus wheelchair and other disability seats and corporate ones... so probably about 16,100 ish.....

If so we might be closer to having to be more creative to keep up with demand. Further reducing the OF is obviously an option.

Adjust the area inbetween.

2 to 6 rows with enough stewards is enough.

That surely must've been a consideration at one point and ruled out in favour of cutting it back. Having visited the control room there's heaps of tech stuff there to monitor the cctv so perhaps it was too difficult? Having said that, it beats me as to why a new control room wasn't designed into the new main stand.

As an aside, these pics were taken from the left most seat. Hence, as you move to the right the view improves. Perhaps someone who already has seats in that area can shed more light but it looks to me that to the right of the stairs beyond that section of 6 seats the view will be OK.

Where do you think the new VAR team will be sitting? Certainly not in the stadium. no need in this day and age with modern technology.

14k season tickets is fantastic 👏 I wonder if we could hit 16k? Those were the numbers during Romanov early Era, anyway fair play to everyone, wish I could get one, hopefully we have another good season.

Disagree.  Clubs have to be much more generous than that. Arsenals scheme gives 90% of resale ticket price to the season ticket holder to be used as a credit towards following seasons season ticket. Good deal for the season ticket holder and good deal for the club as they get 10% for nothing plus the seat is used so food, drinks, programmes etc all possibly purchased.

Heh this is a really important point, well made.

Arsenal are visibly full, every week, even tho they must have lots of ST holders who are away or doing other stuff. Man City, on the other hand, have a lot of empty seats for ordinary league games - presumably because their owners don’t really care.

I hope HMFC can introduce a system, which we haven’t had until now, that will enable busy ST holders to sell their seats to walk-ups
