I watched it last night too.

It was quite disturbing.

I don't know what to make of it.

But I thought The SNP looked grubby.

Propaganda a lot of it. Hatchet job on Alex Salmond, he was found not guilty.

I thought the whole thing was grubby. Kirsty Wark and some of her cohorts were a disgrace.

Utterly biased "documentary". Wark didn't even pretend to hide her disappointment at the verdict ,and even after still proceeded to infer the verdict was wrong. So much for BBC neutrality.

Just watched it on BBC2. It's Kirsty kicking about the Old Town thinking she knows best about, everything.

She likes a wee cosy up with Scottish FM's too. Who knows what went on?

You said you didnt know what to make of it, but you found it disturbing?

Was it disturbing?

Or you didn't know what to make of it?

None of that is going to happen.

Cool, your lot can probably chill instead of running about looking desperate then.

Firstly, I get your constant and complete devotion to Scottish Independence, like it is your religion.

Secondly, nobody really understood what was being said in the programme called 'The Trial of Alex Salmond', because people in Scotland generally end up talking in code.

Apart from you @Space Mackerel, because you know everything.

Apparently, Kirsty Wark talks alien noo.

Not being funny, but most posters watched the doc and took from it what they wanted and understood.

You are the only one having difficulty.

No kindness for women?

Not for Sarah Smith or Dana Garavelli! They are disturbed. Nothing to do with misogyny, as I know you unionists like to misrepresent views.

I have 3 daughters. Woman are as bad as men or are we not allowed to say that?

Have you ever been a juror at the High Court?

Yes, you sit and listen to all the evidence presented in front of you and as a collective come to a decision.

as an SNP supporter, and a Nicola sturgeon supporter, and as a Scottish independence supporter, you must have hated that

Why would I have hated that, bearing in mind it was a child sex offender case and 10 years ago?

Yeah, obviously nothing to do with misogyny, but you have no kindness for Sarah Smith or Dani Garavelli,

I've a deep loathing for their, ahem, journalistic attributes and their constant propaganda against our country.

Because you are so Scottish Independence first, above all else.

What has Scottish Independence got to do with being an independent juror on a child molestation case years ago?

Are you okay?

Since then, Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon have failed in their only objective.

It's 55% in the polls for months on end though.

Who is going to win?

The Mighty Thor

So yet again on the latest check in the SNP are, in fact, not dead.

It seems to be a thread of constants, the SNP are not dead and in fact seem in rude health.

The other constant is the group of posters barking at parked cars.

Just a wee heads up to them, the cliff edge no deal of Brexit is coming, which will further strengthen SNP support and hasten the dissolution of the busted flush that is the union.

Also of note, the Panelbase poll renders 51% Yes, 42% No exclusive of Don't Knows. So even if every single Don't Know were to vote No, the result still favours Yes.

OP has accurately predicted the fall of the SNP: It redundancy following independence.

I honestly fear for some of them if it happens.
Actually think by just repeating the voices in their own head that it will all just go away one day and we’ll suddenly realise perpetual tory government is what we really want.
They don’t seem to grasp that’s exactly what’s got them to here.

Vote SNP to get rid of the SNP. Rise and fall indeed.

None of this is surprising. It will be nearer, if not past, 60% by next spring. The union has no answer. I will vote for independence for many reasons but Brexit is the driving force behind this shift. It has completely undermined everything the unionists could possibly argue. And they know that. It's inevitable, just like devolution was.

The pro-independence business for Scotland commissioned the poll of 1011 people.

It's not likely to be loaded then

Keep clutching at those polls for at least the next 5 years mate

Aye commissioned by business for Scotland.

There is no doubt that support for independence has grown in the wake of Covid and the perceived way Nicola Sturgeon has handled it compared to bojo, but she is now starting to piss people off.

Lets see where we are at the end of this pandemic

Denial won't change the direction of travel in the polls. Neither will refusing a referendum. Arguably denying one will cement victory for the pro-independence side. Boris' best chance is a quick fire referendum following a SNP victory in 2021. And even then, he is struggling big time.

They will invite certain people to take part in the survey.

I've never been invited to take part in an independence survey but I'll bet that you have

It's not like the people of Scotland have been denied a referendum, there was one 6 years ago.

Boris doesn't have to grant another anytime soon

I think even the staunchest conservatives realise that's a weak counter argument. It won't hold.
