Changes from initial levels for hospitality

 

Level 0 - normal with limits on distancing/capacity

Level 1 - curfew at 10.30

Level 2 - indoors food and alcohol with main meals until 8, outside 10.30

Level 3 - no booze, food allowed until 6pm

Level 4 - closed

Highlands and islands expected to move from level 2 to level 1

Dundee may go up to 3, Lanarkshire up to 4

Central belt stays at 3, everywhere else level 2

My concern is that this attempt has been done at the probable cost of hundreds of thousands of other lives through poverty, suicide, missed diagnoses etc etc.

 

When it became apparent early doors who was vulnerable to this, the focus should have been changed

-everyone over 75 in yer hooses full time- not out at all- all food delivered gratis + amazon firestick/sky whatever

- care homes locked down with staff screened to high heaven .

-shielding categories locked down in their houses and not allowed out at all- govt covers all their wages until it passes.

 

Its not ever going to be perfect, but this mish mash is never ending .

So what was the point of this stupid restriction we have just suffered for last few weeks. We implement changes and before anything has a chance to filter through, we change again and bring in other restrictions, always carefully ensuring Glasgow is kept to same level as Edinburgh so as not to offend 'her people'.

 

Is Covid now intelligent enough that it tells time and knows it can infect after 6pm? Where is the justification for random time picked by clowns who don't know what they are doing, but have to do something to justify their exorbitant consultancy fees? Why not 8pm or 9pm, why 6pm?

 

Before Mr Gin comes on with his 'Glasgow had lockdown in Sept' refrain, they had nothing like lockdown that was merited and not for nearly sufficient time.

Just spent the last hour or so wandering about the Gyle shopping centre waiting on my daughter getting her eyes tested . Now at the risk of sounding like the mask police ,I’d say most people were wearing masks , some not wearing any , I guess they are exempt, however after all this time and having the wearing of masks drilled into us for weeks, how is it some people can’t wear the bloody things properly .

Either wear it properly or just don’t bother , it’s not ****ing rocket science on how to wear it , cover your nose and face FFS .

Someone also needs to invent no fog glasses , pissing me off as well 😡😡

Never thought I would see it happen in Scotland but she is slowly morphing into our version of Donald Trump. Has a cult following that laps up her every word and won't accept any criticism. Needs to appear on tv every day to sprout her bullshit, while refusing to provide any evidence or justification of what she is doing.  Surrounds herself with sycophants and allows no dissent in party. Has a relative working alongside to ensure more money comes into them, while ignoring poverty her decisions are causing to people. She really has lost the plot and now considers herself a personality that we should be grateful for.

 

FFS, she is supposed to be working for us, and accountable to us. Not the other way round.

We can go out for a meal but no drink after 8pm.  So how’s does that work, if we haven’t finished the bottle it gets whipped off the table at 8pm?   How can these rules be so specific it’s ludicrous.

 

The fact the even under tier zero we can only meet three households at once indoors.  TIER ZERO.  So any chance of getting together with the wider family or a group of mates is off the agenda indefinitely.  Given there isn’t a single area of Scotland rated tier 0 currently imagine how many months it will be before the central belt is.

 

Someone used the phrase cult above and honestly it’s becoming that way, it’s like a dystopian nightmare.  When the hell are people going to wake up and just say enough.
