Going by the Barnsley chief’s comments in the EN (he sounds like a real piece of work by the way which probably doesn’t help) we are communicating by post, no doubt to ensure we have it all in writing for legal reasons. So that will delay things especially this time of year. To me this sounds similar to a compensation claim over players. So we may appoint him and any comp is settled later in court/tribunal or whatever. Hence we are getting it in writing. Makes sense as the barnsley guy sounds like a chancer.
