Are his wages not made public as hes also a director?

With our coach, at least, we can see the brilliance of Premiership football.

Bird is sitting on a hand, not flying somewhere in the sky.

Levein’s renumeration(s) are quite low going by what people are saying he’s on and looking at other managers...McInnes for example.

It’s not his money that concerns me, it’s the club’s money that’s been spent on getting us to the position we’re in.

That's fair comment Boab. Given the wages we pay we SHOULD expect to be doing much better than we are.

Embarrassing.

It's the fact that he rarely changes his approach even though it obviously isn't working.

Good try, bud. You’re well aware i’m on about our coach’s ability to unearth hidden talent 🙄 and offer them reasonable deals 🙄🙄

Hearts managers win-lose record v. Rangers. Only included those who managed Hearts for more than 1 season's worth of games against them.

T. Walker 11-25

J. Harvey 1-7

B. Seith 3-4

J.Haggart 1-10

A. McDonald 9-19 (inc as co-manager with S. Jardine)

J. Jordan 1-10

J. Jefferies 6-17

C. Levein 1-20

C. Laszlo 1-3

R. Neilson 3-1

Surely they publish both the mens team managers and womens team managers wages to show equal opportunities/ equal pay???? Wonder what the binary teams manager is paid though!

would be non-binary surely 😎

Wage thief regardless of what he earns!!!!

He will not turn us round so he is staying on to steal as much as he can get until he is punted.

Which should be after the St Johnstone game when we hit rock bottom of the table!!!

Not interested in discussing his wages tbh, it's chicken feed compared to the money he's spunked on no marks who have barely kicked a ball.

Bottom line we are bottom 2 mid October, not mid August after a difficult 2 or 3 opening games. Many of the posters who were more positive about Levein at the start of the season stated he should be judged when we had played every team in the division. If we are still bottom 2 after that do you then advocate sacking him? It won't be tomorrow though, we could lose by 10 and the board wouldn't pull the trigger.

maybe not. Maybe a split wage between the two.

bound to get more if he’s doing two jobs

Nope. That can’t be right .....

They would rather have you down as some sort of hobo infiltrator or alternatively holding you as having some sort of hatred for CL as it suits their agenda much better when trying to debate any points because they ran out of any reasoned argument (A long long time ago) to suggest that keeping him in place is the best option for the club

Delusion at its finest, but no wait, it’s the injuries. We just need the first team to come back together blah blah blah 😖

its never going to get better under this management team. 3 years is long enough to see that we just don’t have the consistency of performance on the park, and that we are set up only to combat the opposition strengths rather than send out the players to score more goals than the opposition

The proof of the pudding for me was the SC final where we had a real go and not even got close to that level since then.

change is the only thing that will change us for the better 😕

Well said, that man. 👍

Well if that is performance related pay he should be down to minimum wage by now.

No it wouldn’t. Directors remuneration, in total, gets reported in annual accounts. Would think it’s £140-150k this year

You don't have to want us to lose, we just lose anyway which is why fans want rid of the manager. What are we waiting for? Some magical fairy to come down and cast a spell on Levein that turns him from a miserable negative man in to some young vibrant tactical genius?

Hate to say it, but the waiting for him to go still has quite a bit to run I suspect. ☹️

McInnes reputedly on around 800K and I say reputedly because that's a claim I have seen Aberdeen fans make. And incidentally they have an even longer McInnes out thread than any Levein out thread around here. Theirs runs back 4 years.

Nothing for certain but McInnes must be in at least twice Levein probably more. Remember he turned down Rangers and would have used that in his recent contract negotiations. I’d be surprised if he is on less than £400k with Docherty on half that. A good reason why we couldn’t afford him.

Year to June 2018 the executive directors between them were remunerated to the tune of 221k.  Highest paid director paid 141k.

Executive directors were Budge, Levein and Jacqui Duncan.  Unless Eric Hogg was still Operations Director at that point?

I get Leveins record vs rangers is atrocious, but where is this extreme negativity coming from? Noone has hammered us this season. We’ve actually performed best against the better teams this season so far. We even scored two of Celtics goals for them. Back the team ffs.

We've been dogshite for a year barring one or 2 freak result. The rangers are spending big again and will win the league this season because the celtic board went for the cheap option after brenda left.

I'll be in the ground backing the team but not a chance in hell will we get a positive result. You have seen us in the last 12 months I take it?? Thats where the negativity is coming from.

Levein is only two wins away from winning the League Cup and becoming a Club Legend.

Come on Craigy boy and the Hearts team, prove the doubters wrong.

We'll start with 3 points tomorrow.

Tommy Wright has consistently had St Johnstone punching above their weight for years to be fair.

He's struggling a bit now but he's had a pittance of what Levein has squandered money wise.

He’s certainly a better manager than Levein but still don’t want him.  Wouldn’t mind Robinson although Motherwell lost 3-0 today so the happy clappers will probably see that as evidence he’s a shite manager.  And Dundee Utd got thrashed 4-0 today by QotS so Neilson must be shite too.

I’d rather see a foreign manager with new ideas and no fear factor of the OF.

Walker, Seith, McDonald, Jefferies, Nielson with 32 wins. Hearts won 65

(league only) games against them. Rangers have 180 wins. 58 draws.

It looks like every second or third game should bring something positive, but in reality it is not that simple.
