Follow the money, follow the money, well New York State Attorney is doing just that,  a subpoena has been issued for Trumps top finance man, he is said to know everything about all the money transactions. Of course the fake news all say this is the last nail in Trumps presidential coffin, if this guy opens up he will really expose Donald. Mueller is apparently also looking at Trumps tweets, it is suspected he is looking for statements that would be seen to contribute to obstruction of Justice. VFW executives are complaining that Trumps security bills for his weekly golf trips have cost in excess of $74,000,000  and his grand parade will cost at least $12,000,000 yet he has given nothing to veterans, and is the only President in office for the time he has been in that has not visited a U.S. military post in a war zone.

He better get his Supreme Court nominee confirmed soon, that is his main hope for not spending a long term in jail. I think I will withdraw my life savings from the bank and lay off a bet in Vegas on him not finishing his first term.  I am sure my $150.  will get me a good return.

This from a man who said he would be too busy to ever leave Washington.

He should change his slogan from "Drain the Swamp" to "Drain the Treasury".

Twitter meltdown time again.

'Arrived back in Washington last night from a very emotional reopening of a major U.S. Steel plant in Granite City, Illinois, only to be greeted with the ridiculous news that the highly conflicted Robert Mueller and his gang of 13 Angry Democrats obviously cannot find Collusion... ....,the only Collusion with Russia was with the Democrats, so now they are looking at my Tweets (along with 53 million other people) - the rigged Witch Hunt continues! How stupid and unfair to our Country....And so the Fake News doesn’t waste my time with dumb questions, NO,.... .....I did NOT know of the meeting with my son, Don jr. Sounds to me like someone is trying to make up stories in order to get himself out of an unrelated jam (Taxi cabs maybe?). He even retained Bill and Crooked Hillary’s lawyer. Gee, I wonder if they helped him make the choice!'

This was in response to the latest revelation from Michael Cohen, that Trump not only knew beforehand about his sons meeting with the Russians at Trump tower, but authorised the meeting to begin with.

I was watching CNN when the Cohen news was announced yesterday. I also watched Giuliani in converstion with Chris Cuomo. Rudy who again ac ted like he left his brain with his coat at the cloakroom stated it is a question of credibility, Cohen is an out and out liar and always has been, a clip was shown of Trump saying he only had the best of people around him, bright and honest. Comeau rebutted with the comment that the credibility of the President has often been questioned and he has told lies. Rudy said thats not true he has made some mistakes. When the Helsinki trip and Trumps statement that the Russians did not interfere with the election, then his retraction of that, followed by a retraction of the retraction Rudy still maintained the President was credible. The one good thing about Giuliani is he has finally replaced Bob Hope who was the man who gave me the best laughs, Rudy with his representation for the President gives me really robust hearty laughs with his brand of comedy.

The tweet Jimbo quoted on the thread shows Trumps stupidity, his lawyer and fixer the man who would take a bullet for him, who was a legal representative of Trump was engaged in also representing taxi owners while with Trump, if he was involved in illicit acts that Trump is now suggesting in the tweet why did he maintain his services with that knowledge. Just recently Cohen removed Trumps name as a client from some of his business documents, it would seem he quit Trump rather than Trump dispensing with him.

Its funny how things come around, on another thread there was discussion about military personnel, and some commented how they showed respect to the dead but would not offer same to the living. I am just sort of smiling to myself how like Trumps views on the military are the same as that sentiment.  When discussing the remains of U.S. servicemen who died in Korea it was stated that many of these remains are those of deceased prisoners of war, so again it seems death brings respect, as Trump refers to these dead men as heroes,  but he refers to a true American hero shot down whilst flying a mission over North Vietnam, and held in cruel circumstances as a prisoner of war, who the self same Trump described as a coward because he allowed himself to be taken prisoner. He had been shot down in action, parachuted to safety and is described so cruelly by a man who was so crippled by bone spurs he could not even serve.

To be clear any man who serves in a shooting war whether taken prisoner, or not is a hero whether he survives the imprisonment or not.

Had to laugh at Giuliani stating Cohen has been a liar for years - years when he was Dump's go to fixer. You couldn't make these clowns up.

I got an even better laugh at lunchtime today when they ran a video of Giuliani from May 6 saying Michael Cohen was an honest lawyer. The man is an idiot but then he is part of a club because his boss qualifies also.  There was also an interview with a guy who wrote a book about Trump, they were discussing the subpoena for Trumps, CFO.  This guy mentioned an incident where Trump was speaking to the CFO about a document, he asked who had prepared it and was told,  he is a young black guy.  Trump responded get rid of him I don't want blacks handling my money, I want little short guys who wear yamulkas. Yet this guy got elected President of the United States,

Between Rudi and Donald they are going to implicate themselves for crimes they had nothing to do with. Dumb and Dumber.

I'm still of the opinion that the big orange bairn is going to get taken down by a porn star and her lawyer.

Pun intended ?

Agree with both points, I said some time ago that Avenatti would be a contributor to the downfall. I stand to be corrected but I seem to recall that the Playmate only restarted her complaints after Avenatti got involved with the Stormy Daniels affair.  This revealed Cohens involvement with the payoffs with his position of chief fixer, and just like pulling a thread from a piece of clothing it just sometimes seem to get longer and longer, now they have a senior executive who has to go to a hearing and either give answers and give honest answers or not and face the consequences. I am not sure if this is a situation where he could plead the fifth, but certainly if things get too hot could suggest suggest immunity.

From what ive read this senior executive basically runs the Trump organisation.

The Dump saga would be a hilarious Sevco type sitcom if he wasn't potus. He's doubled the US deficit in 17 months to $1 trillion . All the baccy dipping meth heads that elected him are going to reap the whirlwind soon enough.

I met three very intelligent New Yorkers who all worked on Wall St in the summer of 2016 who voted for Trump. I'm no drug expert but I'm fairly confident they weren't meth heads as you put it.

There reason for voting for him......" Not a chance we can vote for her"

Avenatti is making a fortune. He is representing another three women who claim to have been paid off by the Donald in 2016. No names as yet but he will release them shortly.

In the interest of fairness, and toi get as many views as possible I again watched Fox news this evening.  Tucker Carlson had on a guest who was a critic of Trump, Carlson as he is apt constantly shouted over the speaking guest, and at the end made his usual ths guest is stupid loud laugh. Then we get Hannity, his guests are that face lifted Judge Pirro  sp. who claimed that she went to a demonstration and had two retired navy seals as escorts, she should have had them with her when Whoopi Goldberg kicked her ass out of the studio.  The other learned guest was I had to stop fo a second it just struck me humorous, the very learned Geraldo Rivera, what an effort. Hannity's upcoming highlight of the night is part two of his guest Rosanne Barr now that is someone who's views all must hear a racist foul mouthed individual.

If Trump should be forced to leave the White House in some kind of  disgrace would Hannity and Carlson who have been so supportive, who ascertain that Trump is honest and everyone else is lying, be forced out of their jobs or have the fortitude to resign for being so wrong and adamant and almost bullying in their defence of Trump.

Old Dershowitz the O.J.Simpson legal team member, claims that Avenatti's discussion with Cohen in the restaurant was unethical, Avenatti told him basically he was full of excrement, old Allan I am sure is not used to meeting legal street fighters, but with Avenatti he sure is.

Absolutely not. That's not how things work in the right-wing media in the USA.

I have to admit I have followed U.S. media for over fifty years, all channels it is not diffiult to get a feel of their political bias, even Fox news still have a couple of people who although very conservative will give some credence to the facts as stated regarding Trump. I honestly have never seen two anchors so blatantly biased in their reporting, and actually who mirror so much the individual they are supprting, Hannity and Carlson are without a doubt the two least honest in their reporting and just never seem to admit that there may be something going on here.

I will also say that all news channels now act like Trump, rude and over bearing to an extent, I have seen when on occasion a reporter would say Bush or Obama, but that was generally in the heat of the story, now almost to the point of being seldom do they refer to President Trump but stric tly Trump. I realise this is a criticism and I suppose it is, but it must be difficult for those so close to the stories and the leaks to maintain any respect for a man who has demeaned the position he holds and as one contributor put it a man who is neither morally nor intellectually fitted for the position.

I watched a program on TV tonight which featured several business associates of Trump from before he got into politics.

All of them were saying that the barefaced liar we're seeing now is the real Donald Trump.  It's how he's always been.

When one of his casinos had a huge failure of his slot machines on opening night due to a programming error, when one-third of the slots didn't work, the story he announced to the press was that the slots failed due to too many people winning.  When he held an opening party for one of his towers, and 500 people attended, he would announce that there were 3,00 people there.

He's an unapologetic liar and his supporters don't care.  It's all FAKE NOOZ.

But they were sick of the bullshit they had been told for a lot longer before.

You can dismiss them all you like but continue to do so without at least attempting to see their point of view or examining how a clown like trump holds office is part and parcel of the problem.

Sounding like they are trying to move the goal posts, methinks they know the shit is about to hit the fan.

Technically he's right.  There's no law in America that says colluding with someone is a crime.

But I believe that there are laws against accepting the help of a foreign power in an election.

Trump and his administration are terrified of the Mueller investigation.  Why is that, if Trump or someone close to him, hasn't broken any laws?
