Not having much luck on the phone this morning.

Please try again later......

Sounds like they're very busy, a good thing unless you've got your heart set on a particular seat or area. Good luck!

Already got my season ticket, but wouldn't mind looking at what is available for moving seats. Should this be do-able on etickets? Nothing obvious just now.

JKB should have a fining system with all proceeds going to FoH or Save the Children at the discretion of the mods.

When people like me have a big moan I should get a message saying that was a £10 moan kiwi.

Great news re the sales.

No one is answering the phones at all though

Busy in the office with walk ins perhaps, but the whole phone setup is piss poor. In fact, it is quite pointless because it never connects you to anyone when it matters!

Think we had sold 10.5k for the same period last year.

How many ‘non renewals’ was there from the previous season as a comparison?

Plenty time left to boost sales to a very good number.

Not sure as you can’t really directly compare numbers.

STs last season went on sale mid May with a 2 week renewal period

They've gone on sale mid March with a 6 week renewal period.

Trying to compare apples with oranges. Only way we will know is the final figure when the season starts.

Got to admit that the number sold is higher than I anticipated it would be

It will really annoy those with the anti club agenda on here who only want to post negative claptrap.

No doubt they will still conjure up some negative spin.

10k is more than I thought certainly. Will possibly add up to 1000 max, i would have thought through "new" sales. But 4k non renewals during the initial 6 week phase must still be alarming for the club.

Yeah, it must be very alarming that we've had a fairly similar level of renewals during the renewal period this year as we had last year.

Very alarming indeed!

It was actually three weeks and two days last year!

It's not really comparing apples with oranges, more like comparing satsumas and mandarins!

The end of the renewal period is the end of the renewal period I’d have thought.

Its certainly the only figure available to us for comparison.

I agree though, the final figure is what matters.

We’ve stepped up. Let’s see what Hearts do to try and persuade those who haven’t or are on the fence.

Looks like the annual doom and gloom campaign hasn't been as successful as was hoped for.

Great to read that sales are so far basically unchanged from last year.

It would be good if the guys who had been forecasting doom and gloom could now stop all the negativity and put the same energy into supporting the team.

Can’t believe you still do. How many times do the vessels need to be proven to be empty. We were always going to sell around the same amount.

There’s “forecasting” doom and gloom, and then there’s just plain making up shite as they go along. Who was the dafty that said the boy in the ticket office telt him we’d sold 4,500?

The real supporters see that the club is bigger than whoever is in the dugout. The backing the club gets from the fans cannot be questioned.

I start off well but after a few days of relentless grims it does start to permeate the brain a wee bit. Not a lot, but enough to spark a little “hmmm, what if?” sort of thinking.

If I haven’t learned by now, maybe I never will.

It'll keep the interlopers, trolls and purveyors of pish quiet for a wee while. No doubt they will be back with their anti club agenda though.  As for the rest of us. Good news, and hopefully we can look forward to some excellent signings and see the club back on the front foot again.

Bit concerned when first read 10,000 as that means around 3,500 haven’t renewed. However considering this matches last years figure it’s good news

Can’t see us selling another 3,500+ to match last year however with the increased capacity folk can give it time to mull it over knowning that they’ll probably still be able to pick up a decent seat closer to the time.

Hibs announced they had sold 10,000 last weekend however theirs have been on sale since mid-march, 10,000 in 5 weeks is a good effort.

In fairness, I don’t know if that number is correct but given the timing of the cut off date right after end of month/pay day, there probably was a bit of a huge surge in last few days. Plus some people pointlessly delaying just because they’re a little annoyed and huffy, like me.

Exactly, Mars.

There is no contradiction whatsoever, imo, in renewing and saying the football has been shite for a good while.

We'll still roll up in good numbers but have every right to complain.

A wee troll(!) through this thread will tell who see the real picture.

The numbers are to be debated when the final count is taken.

I predicted 12..12 and a half, at a push and i'm sticking with that.

Moved 3 from Gorgie over to Sec N Main. Only took a couple of minutes and was very easy to do so. Got the exact seats we were after next to a few mates already sitting there.

Our support is incredibly faithful and loyal.  10k is fantastic news with no buzz of the new stand and a poor season on the pitch.  Onwards and upwards.

Impressive stuff. Hopefully a ''marquee signing'' or 2 will push it on further in the general sale.
