Craig_
Come on now when all of this is done our new main stand will be the best looking in Scotland and that includes Celtic and Rangers as theirs is more retro. I would mention Hibs but their main stand looks like an amazon warehouse, if you made you're way to Dunfermline you get a good idea why I would say that, it's like a replica of your main stand. You're not wrong: If anything, the Amazon warehouse looks better! Edited August 7, 2017 by Craig_

Shooter McGavin
Am I the only one who thinks the glass looks Sh!t? Not that I care that much, still an improvement. Me, was hoping it would look more like the original artists impression that made it look like one single pane of glass across the length of the stand, but inside it's going to look incredible. ramrod
Is this the most recent impression? If so, it's still described as a 'glass wall' but compared to the original artist's impression (which looks quite spectacular) that no longer seems to be the case. It's more like two rows of office windows with some cladding in between? http://seasontickets.heartsfc.co.uk/ Not enough Breeze Blocks , large Gaps and odd shaped sloping roofs for you ? Beast Boy
As disappointed as I am in the look of the glass from straight on, it's about a gazillion times more attractive than that tradesman's entrance of a carbunckle down Lochend. Perspective and all that.
ArcticJambo
Disappointed. Hopefully we can get a decent glazing company in, in the future, and make a better stab at the glass curtain. Anybody know why it's being called a glass curtain; it's doing my tits in, it really is ... irrational I know but can folks stop calling it a glass curtain and start calling it a glass facade. Because it is a curtain wall, more specifically a glass curtain wall. Curtain walls aren't structural, they're there to keep the elements out - take a curtain wall away and the buildings still standing.

kila
So which part is the curtain wall then? Well the entire thing is a glass curtain wall The curved protruding segment at the front is the facade
Hackney Hearts
So which part is the curtain wall then? Facade NOUN 1The principal front of a building, that faces on to a street or open space. In our case, the facade is made from a glass curtain wall system. We could have curtain walling at the back and sides, but then that wouldn't be a facade. Hackney Hearts
So it's also a glass facade. So long as it's at the front, a 'glass facade' could mean anything from leaded stained glass windows, to glass bricks, to thousands of wine bottles stuck to MDF, etc.... DesertDawg
I keep reading about the new stand seats being shipped from the "Far East," with no specific country mentioned. Has anybody thought to check what size these seats will be? My experience of 20 years in Japan, Korea, China and elsewhere is that Oriental seats are smaller.....much smaller and lower too. Japan airlines managed to install 630 seats on a Boeing 747 which was originally designed for about 350. Believe me, these were not the same size of seats. Anybody know the manufacturers?
