New Season Tickets

Hearts Heritage

They brought out a CAT B season ticket IIRC excluded Hibs, Celtic, Rangers and possibly Aberdeen. Seats on left of the Roseburn.

Maybe a possibility this season.

Yeah I was thinking that, no reason why they can't do that again.

I'd love to know what number of tickets was budgeted for.

Knowing the way Budge/FOH do their business I imagine it would be worst case scenario, and anything above is a bonus.

This will be a big bonus!

My rough count is...

Main Stand: 306

Gorgie: 239

Wheatfield: 475

Total: 1020

Maybe a possibility this season.

Or they might try to fill the other 3 stands with ST's and keep the Roseburn for the "walk-up's" so all us real fans can point at the part-timers/glory hunters that don't have ST's

(this is a wee joke by the way in case anyone gets upset).

If 12.5k seats were available and there is less than 1k left does that mean we have sold 11.5k already?

Just in case anyone is interested in wheelchair season tickets. There was availability this morning in a couple sections of the Wheatfield and Gorgie stands.

I was at the queue at 8:45 this morning and got served at about 9:45. There was about 75(rough count) in front of me and when I came out there seemed to be about the same again still waiting which is a good sign. The girl in the ticket office said most folk were just swapping seats but a few were buying new tickets.

We should be close to 12,000 by the end of the day if not already.

Ticket Office played a blinder with our request and the girl Emily went the extra mile to accommodate us. Everything about the club is fantastic right now. Remember the shambles the Ticket Office used to be around 04 to 06 where season tickets weren't posted and people had to queue on the first day of the season to get them! The social media side of the club has been used superbly recently as well. Plus the "join the revival" marketting is lovely stuff. It's all just marvellous.

Emily always does. (Professionally, of course).

Agreed, changed our seats this morning and it went very smooth, so we are now sorted and ready. Now the debate starts as to where the prematch beers are going to be taken ... bet that will not be as stress free!!

Since we are praising the work of the TO staff, I feel I need to mention a girl called Hayley. I was in a few weeks ago to initially move seats (E to G) and then in again this morning to try and move (again) to better seats within G.

During both visits she was absolutely brilliant with me. Nowt was too much trouble and she definately went the extra mile to ensure myself (and in turn my dad and my wee laddie) got what we were after.

There's an email on its way to the head of the TO to sing Hayley's praises. It's the least I can do. If the TO staff get it in the neck when things go wrong, it's only right they get the credit when they go above and beyond.

That would suggest we're nearly at 12k tickets already then going by the dot counts?

Seems slightly unlikely but positive if correct!

Your figures are pretty accurate although the Main Stand is about 4,500.

Capacity is a tad over 17K (17,100 or so I think - it's been decreasing slightly over the years).

Good Man, some people are very very quick to criticise but very rarely dish out praise, through acts like this you will see more off the same from the staff as they see that their hard work is recognised and appreciated... Well Done Everyone.

Here is my very rough calculation of where we are...

The stadium holds roughly 17,000. Less 3,450 in the Roseburn leaves 13,550. Less a rough estimate of 750 seats for the directors box & Gorgie hospitality leaves 12,800. There are around 900 tickets left on sale which would mean we have shifted 11,900! I reckon the club will be very close to announcing the 12k mark passing which is staggering. 'Category B' STs are looking more and more likely now.

Do we really have 750 seats for the directors box and Gorgie hospitality?

Section X where Gorgie hospitality sit has about 10 blank rows of around 25 each.

I reckon there are up to 400 seats in the Gorgie for hospitality and there are easily another 150 in the main stand. 750 was a very high estimate but you're right it's probably less.

There are a number of seats withheld in sections A front, D back, G front, N1/2/3, T1/2/3 and X for hospitality, media, security and poor sight lines. I'd estimate that there are 12,250 seats available for STs.

So less the 860 that are available now that is 11,390 sold FF.

The long queues were not helped by the new rules (or at least, rules that have never been enforced before) preventing you from going into the stadium and looking at the view in your seat without an escort, but the staff were working their backsides off doing both jobs at once - can't fault them at all.

It's a good job I went in, the seats we'd moved to were hellish  Had to sort it out, so the hour + wait was worth it to save the ballache I would get off my mates if we had a shite view
