Vansen Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 The Beekeeper Jason Statham in maybe his most Jason Statham film yet. Look, this is mindless violence and you know what you will get before it starts. However, the time flew by, the scumbags in this absolutely deserved the carnage coming to them, and I really, really enjoyed this. If you enjoy Statham's films there is an excellent chance you will enjoy this. If you don't, not sure why you're watching it anyway 😉 8.5/10 Quote

Canscot Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 Ferrari. 6-10. I would think if you are a racing/car buff you might rate it higher though. Quote
Ray Gin Posted February 4, 2024 Posted February 4, 2024 Saltburn 6.5/10 Weird black comedy with annoying characters that just gets darker and darker. Barry Keoghan is good in it but I saw way more of him than I ever needed to. Quote
Canscot Posted February 5, 2024 Posted February 5, 2024 The Beekeeper The Expendables 4 As I have stated before I enjoy movies where the good guys beat the shit out of the bad guy’s. Story is secondary to me. Plus, Jason Statham movies got me through a dark period health wise a few years ago so I continue to show loyalty to him and his genre. Quote

Shanks said no Posted February 15, 2024 Posted February 15, 2024 One Love 6/10 Firstly mrs described it as her worst cinematic experience, contant chatter, popcorn throwing, folk moving about and mobile use. Because the film uses a lot of Jamaican Patois it was really hard to follow in the circumstances. (Cineworld Fountainbridge) We had really looked forward to this, so it was a big let down. Probably would have enjoyed more at home with subtitles. There were a few stand out moments, for example Marley singing Redemption song to the kids. However didn't get anything new from it and anyone who doesn't know his story as well as we do, will be scratching their head at parts. His murderer, Danny Baker, does appear Quote

Muppetboy Posted February 16, 2024 Posted February 16, 2024 American Mary 4/10. Watched this on the back of rave reviews on this horror site I check out on Facebook. A medical student specialising in being a surgeon, takes on body modification work to earn money cos she's struggling trying to get through med school. Film.then goes gory after girl is attacked and takes revenge on the perp. Absolutely shit, starts off well but quickly turns awful, not even the girl from the horror movie ginger snaps, can save this Quote

If only one, if I was flush I would get them something but the prices are ridiculous. Precovid WH had a great team of staff who were knowledgeable about the films and would take time to chat and were great with the kids. I stopped going in December 2022 due to a number of issues and the pricing was crazy. Some of the kids prices were up to £12 a seat. The three of us can get into the Vue for what I was paying for the two kids. Never had any issues outside the cinema - either in the car park or in any of the shops. Quote
