Kennedy Bakircioglu Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 Appreciate all the reviews @rudi must stay but that's five films you've reviewed in eight hours? Any chance you could batch your reviews and do one review every few days or on a weekly basis? I really like this thread but it feels harder to find the genuine reviews now. Quote

Carl Fredrickson Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Beau Is Afraid on Now TV. This is described as a horror/comedy. I would describe it as sh"t 0/10. Seriously the worst film I have watched EVER. Watched Violent Night with my son at the weekend. Think Santa being John McLean. I reviewed this last year, cant remember what I gave it then but will give it a 9/10. Renfield Nicolas Cage is Dracula and Nicholas Hoult as his lacky. My son loved it for the violence and humour. I didnt think it was great. 5/10 Quote
Vlad Magic Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 Currently half way through Once Upon A Time In America as it’s free on Amazon Prime. Haven't watched it in a while. Epic!! Some difficult scenes pushing the limits of watchability but what a film!!! Quote
JudyJudyJudy Posted November 29, 2023 Posted November 29, 2023 “ Oppenheimer “ it was very good . It didn’t even feel it was on for 3 hours as the time flew by . Outstanding performances from all the cast but Cillian Murphy was just brilliant . So was Robert Downey . Emily Blunt was fantastic in the scene where she was interrogated and stuck by her man . If it’s a race for that Oscars between this and “ flowers of the killer moon “. I’ll go for this . However both brilliant Quote
rudi must stay Posted November 30, 2023 Posted November 30, 2023 (edited) The Strays I thought this was rubbish. Unlikely story and boringly acted 5/10 Pain Hustlers Very good film. Chris Evans and Emily Blunt are superb 8/10 Athena French film. Nice looking and solidly acted 8/10 Tracks Boring film about a girl that hates everyone and crosses the dessert with camels 5/10 Lansky Harvey Keitel is good and it's a decent if unoriginal film 7/10 Becky Horrible film.
