Eh?

See above where he rated a film "10 every day of the week" then quoted himself an hour or so later and said "I would give it 5/10. Poor script"

What does your 2nd account think?

If I had a second account surely I'd give it a different name. Cheers

Of course you would.

The implication is that you forgot to switch accounts before disagreeing with yourself.

Mods why don't you give @Ray Gin a warning for spamming this thread

Could you do a fresh review of Catch The Fair One? I don't know whether to watch it after your last two.

Catch The Fair One

An ambitious film, nice looking camera work wise but I felt the script and acting let it down.

6/10

The long goodbye.  4/5

Elliot gould plays a private eye implicated in the murder of his friends wife.

Its a bit of a mess but is still thoroughly enjoyable.

10 every day of the week. Just not on Thursdays. Or an hour after watching.

The Menu

decent enough with her from the queens gambit and Ralph Fiennes.  Rich folk go to an exclusive island restaurant £1250 a head for the experience and , well , the head chef is not normal

7/10

Class of 75

Just back from watching Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Nowhere near as good as the original trilogy and quite sad to see Harrison Ford as an older Indiana. Makes you think about the march of time.

Yes it was very disappointing . I’m a massive “ sopranos “ fan .

I thought it was decent. His son is a find acting wise. For me he did the whole calculated gangster thing the best I didn't rate the main guy

Also just back.

Quite enjoyed that. Nothing OTT. Thought a few changes nearer the end would've tied up things really nicely.

He was a bit underused, I expected young Tony to feature more prominently.

I thought Corey Stoll was great as Junior. Nailed his mannerisms.

Spider

Not much fun. What can you say about Ralph Fiennes though words don't do justice to this man's ability as an actor

Carl Fredrickson

Rush.

Not seen this for a long time and it is as good as on first viewing. Ron Howard does an amazing job of bringing the story of the rivalry and friendship of James Hunt and Nikki Lauda to the big screen.

A film I doubt I will ever tire of watching. 10/10 and that is not a score I give out often

I'd give it 8 to be honest. Rush is a good film, it doesn't have a great script and the money was spent on the race scenes. Which makes it a film that technically isn't as strong as it could have been, IMO

The race scenes are tremendous (especially if you have been fortunate to see it at the cinema) and it was money well spent. Brought home the risks of the race and the skills of the drivers.

I stand by my 10/10

Enjoyed Idianna Jones last night. Wasn't quite sure when they were in Morrocco. A bit too slapstick. But everything after that was decent. Enjoyed the Boat section and the ending.

Creed 3

It must be hard to come up with an original story when making a fictional boxing film. Felt that I had seen this all before and it was predictable and dare I say it, boring. 4/10
