AndyMcI
Just completed the 2nd round with 66. A new record round for me. The slow greens make a HUGE difference to the putting IMO and i think we'll see a lot of lower scores. Good luck all.
Sergio Garcia
86 for me............putting improved just as the rest fell away. Very much doubt ill see the 3rd and 4th round with a 92 and 86!
The Old Tolbooth
81 for me and I dropped a lot of silly shots, no excuse of being pished tonight either! 4 dropped shots over the last two holes was a killer as I was on course for a 77 87 and 81 might not be enough to make the cut sadly
JamboRossi79
Well all I can say is at least I am consistent, got 95 in the second round after my 94 from the first Got my first birdie though Just can't putt !!

Bigsmak
triple bogey on the 17th saw me finish 4 over.. I missed about 5 birdie putts of under 10ft... can't hole a thing.. left them all short with the slower greens!
jammyheart
Bummer +1 on the back nine but disaster on the way out lol.
Sergio Garcia
Just got my ass handed to be on a plate at a Match Play in St Andrews, he birdied the first 5 and that was that. Sure i would have taken him over 18........................ Anyone fancy Matchplay? Edited August 2, 2010 by ELVIS_LEGEND

Dunks
Total Weston lol Shot an 86 that included 44 putts - guess what area of my game needs practice Is there a nearest the pin or long drive prize? What a difference a course makes - 69 that time with 27 putts! "Promoted" to Pro as a result
Mark_Mywords
Got a 9 on the 2nd hole - Lost 2 balls in the weeds! Frustrating game, but good fun.
Boof
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh - putting!!!!!!!!!!! Total putts made = 39.41 feet. Yep - 18 putts at an average of just over 2ft. Soooooooo frustrating. Oh, yeah...shot a 72.
Boof
When I say 18 putts...that's the ones that finished off the hole. There were countless ones that just missed, just short (rassin dassin fassin slow greens...).

Shaggy2
OK, I've set up a 'Country Club' called Kickbackers..... If you want to join, put your WGT monicker on this thread and I'll try to send you an invite via the WGT site. Not sure how this will work, think you also have to be a 'friend' of my monicker. Will check out how to do all this tomorrow, it's late..... Will probably start a tournament up for whoever's joined later on this week..... Shaggy38 looking for some golfing partners... portobellojambo1
84 on the 2nd round, nothing to write home about but scores still coming down so got to be happy with that. It's daft things like pressing the mouse button too early that cause me problems on occasions (89 + 84 = departure time)

Were you in the rough? i often hit a 1 yard shot when I'm in it. Wee tip for the 17th, Go slightly too long and put backspin on it, you'll have a long put but you won't land in the water like most people seem to of. ArmiyaRomanova
25 minutes left for the three players (Chris1874, weebaws, derekmcqueen) who haven't registered a round to do so. Squeaky bum time for bigfow (171) and perhaps robbodog (170), who could fail to make the cut if any of the three players register a decent score. The Old Tolbooth
Bugger! I just had a round at St Andrews and realised I was on for a good score and that it would probably get me to pro status, so I deliberately messed around on the last hole and shot an 8 for a 74, but it wasn't enough and it still put me to pro status, does that mean I need to use tees that are further back now? Nope, but it does mean that you can buy decent equipment in the pro store.
