Samuel Camazzola
If you wish to play 18 holes at 7am, you can book this. However, an option is also available for someone to book 9 holes from the 10th at 7am. This allows more playing options for members and provides more booking opportunities. The 9 hole option will be available for a set window as people would be completing the first 9 after approx 1.5/1.75 hours. The 9 hole option at the end of the day has just been added as loss of daylight would prevent a full round being played. Every booking must be made via BRS, nobody can just turn up. They've opted for these options but could be flexible to change depending on demand and feedback. Glad there are no four balls. They are the groups who cause the slow play issues. They don't have a membership book. Course opens for the first time on Friday. Depends how much you are looking to pay for the green fee though... The whole thing will be broadcast live in the US by TNT – but where can you watch it in the UK? For a change, the answer is NOT Sky Sports. Negotiations between the organisers of the event and the main live golf broadcaster in the UK reportedly broke down. • Meet Jan Collins - Golf's "Captain Tom" Instead, the event will be shown live on the CNN news channel. For Sky users, CNN is found in the news section of your TV guide at channel 506. Virgin Media users will also find it in their news section on channel 607. BT users can get it on 393 and Freesat on 203. The broadcast starts at 8pm UK time and runs until 1am.

Samuel Camazzola
Talk of adjusted European Tour schedule sounding interesting. To enable consecutive competitions, plans are being made to try and accommodate a month's circuit within the UK. Courses being considered are those with on site hotels so an example could be - wk1 Belfry, wk 2 Celtic Manor, wk 3 Gleneagles, wk 4 Druids Glen. Tour players and caddies could arrive in advance to go through testing and isolation etc.. There are also plans for other events to be played over 54 holes and two a week. Reduced purses expected.
