Changed the kick to the head being a red card after this.

I remember that game. That wasn't the only bad challenge from the Dutch, that was their entire game plan from my pov

Reported on Sky Sports and you can find it in the "Football Governence" section of the SFA website under disciplinary updates

👍Seeing it on Skysports news now.

It's a nonsense it's not been extended in all honesty.

On previous occasions the miscreant accepts the e.g. 2 game ban as an appeal deemed as frivolous would see it extended.

Not this time, though? Hmmm ...

I'm not sure what is more inexcusable here, the churlish reaction of Rodgers and Celtic to Sunday's game or the willingness of the media to indulge their moaning. The red card was a sending off all day long.

Honestly, to look and listen to a lot of the media coverage these last few days, you could be forgiven for actually missing what the scoreline was!

control the media control the narrative

He has a point surely when Celtic are playing all SFA officials involved should be the Celtic ones and when it's Rangers it should just be all the Rangers ones purely for impartiality.Scottish football eh what a ****ing state.

That's exactly what Brendan Rodgers wanted all along. To deflect attention away from the scoreline.

I think the rule is shite.

The St mirren boy and the celtic guy where just Trying  the reach the ball and the other player got their first, neither was hurt and although clearly high, a yellow and fk imo should be the outcome.

However,  under the rules it's a red card.

The rules now in football are getting a bit ridiculous,  no more so than the handball rule.

The fact that the big tanned, greetin face leather skinned,  V looking alien twat never called out his own pk as an actual foul on Cochrane and was 100% for the St Mirren guy being sent off is unbelievable.

The outrage has only one agenda, to pressurise the referees in future games and appease their fans.

Will he be called out for the hypocrisy and being a dick by the media?

I honestly can’t believe you think a tackle to the head with studs showing is only worth a yellow card.

Unbelievable!

The club’s appeal over the red card shown to Hyunjun Yang in Sunday’s game at Tynecastle has been dismissed at an SFA hearing today (Tuesday).

A club spokesperson said: “We have received notification that the club's claim has been dismissed.

“Clearly we are surprised and extremely disappointed at this decision.”

Hyunjun Yang will now receive a two-match suspension.

Big Drew

If they increased the suspensions when appeals were rejected it might stop futile attempts being made as £500 admin fee is nothing in terms of cost. Increasing the suspension for a failed appeal may focus clubs' minds?

Telling you , the next step is a campaign to scrap VAR . Personally hope we are dead set against that . I know I am

If they are surprised by this, then I think someone needs to buy Celtic a rule book as it was a clear cut red card.

Under the floodlight

They'll come up with a song all about injustice and oppression, how they were once wronged by a sending off, and then drone on and on for eternity.

All thanks to Naismith a few weeks ago publicly supporting VAR, played a blinder wee man.

He knows the score and we’re lucky to have him in so many ways.

At 37 he’s Fergie junior. FTC FTCFKAR, & more importantly FTH.

Only Hearts.

I have never seen a team anywhere who are so unable to accept that they lost a football match fair and square. I hate them. So so much. Stuff like this just crystallises the loathing and utter contempt I feel for the way they conduct themselves.

I can think of one more, coincidentally they play in the same city as them

And also to try and browbeat referees not to make decisions against them in future. It's an age-old OF tactic and cheap at ten times the price.

appreciate that the fine is the appeal fee is the same for all clubs; for Celtic though a drop in the ocean for Livingston a major consideration.

I can see why they’re so angry, I mean it’s not like they have

The least pens against in the league

The most pens for in the league

The least reds against in the league

The least yellows against in the league

The least fouls against in the league

The highest no of fouls per booking in the league

…do they? Hud oan…

Australis

The old firm are making it harder and harder for officials to give decisions against them.

Beaton and Robertson must now be in more danger of being attacked, thanks to Brenda.

First penalty given against celtic in the league, and they are kicking and screaming about ot.

Hope our football authorities stand up to them both.
