Will Bayer Leverkusen win the league?

Hansel

Recommended Posts

Bayern currently behind 2-1 to Bochum after an early lead. If it stays like this Bayern will be 8 points behind league leaders Leverkusen who are on fire right now with Xabi Alonso working his magic. Would be great for German football. Is that akin to hearts winning the league?

The table as it stands

Forgot to mention Leverkusen undefeated in the league

Not sure you need to mention it, it's shown in the table.

How many games do they play?

They were runners up in champions league. Beaten by Madrid in 02

They won uefa Cup in the 80s too

Bayern on my coupon for today. Whole second half to go against Bochum. 🙏

Aye! Getting ahead of myself a bit but even if bayern win still 5 points in the clear 😁

They've already played each other twice. Bayern were pumped 3-0 in Leverkusen in the last match. Leverkusen managed a draw in the away match. Hopefully they can hold their bottle for the last 12 matches

Some job Alonso has done there

I hope they win it

Same. Would be some achievement. Wonder if Alonso will be Liverpool bound in the summer

Would be great if they did. Recent history suggests not to expect anything other than Bayern to win it though. Won it in the last seconds last season.

Aye, Dortmund really blew it last season.

If Leverkusen can avoid injuries to key players in these last 12 matches then they can have a chance

Bayern have a fair amount of unrest upstairs, which is probably the main reason Tuchel is still in charge, the old guard would have had him emptied by now.

As much as i like Munich, Leverkusen winning would be the best outcome for German Football and hopefully means Alonso stays.

Kane moves to Bayern after never getting a winners medal at Spurs....and now Bayern might not win the Bundesliga this season after winning the last 11. Jinx.

Bochum 2-1 Bayern Munich

We have more tennis balls thrown on to the pitch. We had a near 10-minute delay earlier on when this happened

Tuchel for the sack? Utterly clueless manager who has no idea what he is doing.

Bochum having the same goal music as Bayern is quite funny though, although it's incredibly tragic having goal music in the first place.

Hope they get 4 or 5 now. **** em!

Germany-wide fans protests against a new TV-deal & corporate takeover of the league, has been going for weeks now. German fans have much more solidarity when it comes to football-wide issues than the UK

In that case, you won't see it at Easter Road.
