Rowles had a bad game, wasn't the only one but he's been pretty good this season over all.

Atkinson creates chances for us going forward and can actually beat players and progress us on the counter. Aye, he's not the biggest and isn't great defensively all the time but he battles away like ****. I like him.

But ultimately, we've got to be realistic. We can't just flip half a squad every season. We struggle to find a RWB, nevermind getting rid of a decent one and trying to find two. Never going to happen.

Rowles has been great this season. Great foil for Kent. Like a poor man's Vidic / Ferdinand combo.

Don't understand why everyone is suddenly turning on him. Kent was himself having a bit of a shocker before he got injured but seemed to get away with it (as he should when its just a game or two).

Agree also that Natty is a decent player when he gets a consistent run. Before he left for the Asia Cup he was playing really well.

Peoples memories generally don't last longer than one game here....

Don't know sums, but same way we'll be wanting big dough for Shanks with 12 months left Killie would be daft not to do the same. He's their best player currently.

Transfermarkt has him down at £850K. I don't think they'd talk for anything less than that to start with.

They wanted £650k for him in the summer from a club abroad.

Rowles has been good in spells but lacks physical presence. Poor start. Got better and has some very solid games until the international break. Back to pish recently. Get's a free pass from some though.

And he’s got better / more important for them since then. Same situ as us with Shankland. Won’t sell cheaply to a rival in the same league

If Shanks gets his game for Scotland I can see way more interest abroad for him.

Yeah but I suppose he’s got a year less on his contract and only a year remaining this summer. I do agree they’d ask for more from us than they would a foreign team, but not sure what they’ll want this summer. Definitely very similar to our situation with Shankland!

Nouble will leave livi on a free and end up in the English lower leagues to never be heard of again.

Yengi is miles better than him if we’re looking at Livi strikers for what they are. He’s the guy that’s actually been scoring rather than the guy that showed up once when Livi played against the OF on Sky.

Would absolutely love us to try and bid for Lyall Cameron at Dundee!

Looks an absolutely cracking prospect,

Proper box to box midfielder imo,

Seems like he would only have 1 year left on his current deal according to transfermarket? I don't know how much they would be looking for, but i would be enquiring anyway.

We have a box to box midfielder, need someone who is a proper creator.

Disagree, For me no one has made enough runs or scored enough goals in our midfield to be classified as a box to box midfielder, Hoff could become that but he is more an all rounder type midfielder for me, as in he can do everything well but nothing brilliant imo of course,

Also Dhanda should solve the creativity problem for next season,

Just imagine a midfield 3 next season of,

Dhanda

Neiwenhof Cameron

You’ve genuinely looked at that list and decided Nouble is the one you want?

Nouble looks awful more often than not. Surprised anyone would want to consider signing him.

People still wanting Nouble. Can't get a game for a team about to be relegated!

Not a chance. Last time saw him, looked like he was towing two caravans! We want far, far better than him.

Would love that, although he has been a bit more inconsistent recently. He's still young, but looks a great player. I think the chat from before was he wanted to finish his studies before leaving Dundee.

Cameron would be a good signing. Lose Beni, then would try alan Campbell again.

These are players that we could realistically take from other clubs

Aberdeen - Barron

Celtic - probably nobody

Dundee - Cameron, McCowan

Hibs -

Kilmarnock - Armstrong

Livingston - Penrice

Motherwell - Spittal

Rangers - Jack

Ross County - Dhanda (already done)

St Johnstone - Phillips

St Mirren - Strain, Baccus

Decent list that, add in Johnston at Celtic, Wright from Rangers?

Although Johnston is probably beyond us.

Those are probably our best bet for old firm players these days. I do think Jack is realistic and he would add a lot to our young midfield imo

I must admit I have no idea which centre backs would be worth looking at if any. I assume Killie and St Mirren must have decent ones

Don't want jack, medical team is busy enough. Baccus replace Haring,  but not sure would be a first pick.

Cameron, McCowan, Armstrong, Penrice, Strain and Allan Campbell should be top targets + a striker

Mate, Forrest creates millions of chances for us and his effort is unbelievable. The issue folk have with Forrest is that he loses the ball. That's because everytime he gets it, he's taking on his man or trying to play a forward pass. Doesn't always work but he only needs to get past his man once or twice and he scores or creates a chance, every week. I think Forrests been ****ing brilliant this season.

Can’t fault his effort and forward drive but too often just runs and runs with it without having a clue what to do with it.  Plays too much with his head down.  I would keep him but I’d like to think we can upgrade.

I've become an advocate of Forrest in the last few months. Your points are fair, but he's improved in these areas a bit since he's been playing on the left.

Decent list this.

I'd also add, Lennon Miller, and Callum Slattery to the Motherwell list. Both very good players. Although Slattery is currently a long-term injury.

Lennon Miller is not realistic unfortunately. He's got suitors way bigger than us.

Been impressed, shows no fear and an another goal at weekend, think like Armstrong they would want between 500k/1mil for them both.

They are the sort of players that come in and start though.

I would like someone more complete and experienced in midfield.

Someone who is a leader.

And with dhanda coming in, I think we will be more suited, to a striker that gets in behind.

Yeah chance to maybe make money on them too,but hopefully keep them 3/4 years meaning we don't have to recruit for the same positions every year.

The performance levels would need to remain high for both too.

That's our problem.

Both are very hardworking players.

Think we'll have a busy window with a decent number of outgoing players to replace.

Assuming everyone stays - which I highly doubt - I'd take an expereienced right back, an established mid-20s Barrie McKay style winger, and an experienced striker.

We have a striker who gets in behind called Tagawa its just that when he makes those runs he never gets that killer pass to him guys lol.
