Moving on from the epic over reactions to last night's dismal display. I think we'll see a more familiar team, formation and a return to winning form.

Is Shankland banned for this game?

                   Clark

         Hill Sibbick Rowles

Smith Devlin Snodric Cochrane

            Shanks Humps

                    Gino

I don't want to see Kingsley or McKay near the team this weekend.

We should win all 3 and we should have "Blast Off!"

Hill cannot play rb, did you watch tonight

Certainly can't play RWB in a team with no midfield

Like this side , hopefully Smith and Humphrys are well enough to play.

To be fair to Robbie, he's nearly as good at beating bad teams, as he's bad at beating good teams!!

Or maybe against OF opposition which has an added level of pressure?

Basically he's a top class RCH in a team which plays 343... why don't we just play him there 🙂

Yes, but if required he can probably handle it next time; he has played RB before

All roads lead to Gorgie

Back to winning ways hopefully. I will go three nil to us this time. Gino, a Shanks chip over the goalie and big Kye coming up to plant a header in roof of the net from a Snodric corner...😉

I'd go with this if they're all fit. With Grant, Kio, Kuol and Oda all getting time from the bench, depending what's needed, although I can't see Mackay or Kingsley being allowed the weekend off.

Anyone looking to shift two tickets for this match, please let me know (preferably seats together)

Thanks

I've just put 2 on the ticket exchange in Section W Row 19 of the Gorgie Stand mate.

I dont expect any change to Snodball, I only hope we can support him better in this game. Getting to the point if some players are not trusted, or shoehorning in favourites, could derail things, however there is a stark difference playing 2 teams and the other 9.

Kingsley not back to his best, take a seat, Hill Sibbick and Rowles restored, if Smith and Devlin are not back, 2 of Atkinson Grant and Kio need to be given the opportunity.

Youngsters can come off the bench, I'm still playing McKay, he never plays against Rangers, and for all the frustration, still one capable of splitting the defence. Shankland deep, wonder when that will end, not sure it needs to be every game

Could be a good game for him to play, Gino might be the one sitting out, bit weary coming off last night

Last night marked our first defeat in 11 matches but also the 2nd game in a row where we’ve failed to score (after having previously scored at least once in the previous 9 matches). It also marked only the 2nd match in the last 7 where we have conceded.

Games v DU at home in recent times have been very entertaining and littered with goals.

We need to be right back at it from the first whistle. Play players in position and get back to what we were doing. Let’s start another undefeated run. I expect a big reaction from this team 🇱🇻

Huge game to get us back on track. Bar one game away to Celtic (should probably not bother turning up), there will likely be no more midweek games until the end of season. So has to be strongest team and best formation (!!) from now until the end of the season.

Usually a good game against these hammer throwers, pantomime villain with a ponytail, chance to get back on track. Should be good.

Clark (a must)

Hill Sibbick Rowles (a must)

Smith RWB Cochrane LWB (a must)

Devlin and Snodgrass CMs (a must)

Shankland and Ginnelly (a must)

But more musts are to get Forrest involved.  Get Halliday's craft back involved.  Get regular game time for Kuol and Oda.

That's 14 and doesn't even account for Kingsley,  Humphrys,  McKay and Grant.  It's usually a good problem to have but you can end up getting less than you need out of players in rotation.  The trick is getting something straight away out of someone getting a chance.

This is the winning team & setup.👍

No chance Neilson ever going for it then.

Hearts vs. United at Tynecastle has been an entertaining fixture in recent times.

Another 4-1 or 5-2 would be nice.

I certainly believe there will be goals.

Hearts 3-1.

Should have enough to get a win, more concerned that whoever the squad is, we get through without any injuries as that's all Utd are good for plus it's not a great ref for us either.

McKay , Kuol , Oda , Gino all to come on if we need a goal , and Kio and Grant there as midfield options if we struggle there

3-1 Hearts

Although previous encounters against United have been entertaining, this team do not look up to much under Fox and the fans are turning. If we turn up with the correct tactics and personnel we should win comfortably.

Hopefully come out the traps quickly and go at them. We should be looking for 9 points from the next 3 games. One thing we done relatively well last season was to kick on and get back to winning ways after a defeat. I'm sure the players are bursting to rectify Wednesday night tomorrow but we need to crowd on our side and not to get on the players backs just because of what happened on Wednesday. Utd won't be anywhere near the levels of Rangers but they still have a few players that can hurt us so we need wary of them.

Doubt it given last night was our first defeat in 10. 😄

Don't you realize,

If we lose it's because of Neilson, if we win it's in spite of Neilson.

United will be scrapping & fighting position they are in, won’t be easy & we have to show a lot more desire than Wednesday

Humps instead of Gino for me, but otherwise this. Kuol in the Gino role, Humps to bring something different.
