Remember Laryea Kingston?

He played for a Ghanian team called 'Hearts of Oak', another fine name for a team.

I wonder what he's doing these days. 🤔

That fella had talent ... but was flawed.

He made a name for himself in acting

He really isn't decent.

If he was decent then Australia would be a step down career wise. Although there is a history of criminals going there.

I think he is decent, not as good as he thinks he is tho.

Time will tell I  guess.

Fair play to him seeing as he did a fine job acting like a superstar whilst at Hearts. 🤭

Not any worse than ... Halkett, Souttar, Elvis, young Neilson, Levein, ad infinitum?

He's gash. A total H1b5 class player.

I'd say the latter of that list were good, not decent.

Neilson has potential.

Halkett was called shite by many on here just a few years ago.

I never rated Doig and he went for £3m and is playing in Seria A while Porteous and the likes get called up in front of Kingsley so I'm not sure what is real anymore.

In the limited time I've seen him, I don't think he's as shite as folk on here are making out.

Time wil tell I guess.

Good, bad or indifferent, I’m just glad the muppet can’t beat Hearts.

I think he gives up chances to us when he plays us. He looks ok when they play a 3 because he’s generally central and more difficult to target. The SF with nobody there in particular (after we got on top) he was amazing at duffing the ball straight out of play or straight to Boyce or Naismith. Seriously, watch that game again, he’s humpty.

Taken off pitch for 'head knocks' too

Seems to talk sense and despite being a utter wank on the field seems to be respectful to us.

Said last season that he wants Aberdeen to play the way we do. I think most of the time when he voices frustration, he's got a point.

He's very good at passing out of the back. He helps out their very meh midfield a lot with it.

In defending he relies on shirt-pulls and nudges and all of the other shitebaggery, but he's very good at picking a pass.

He and Stephen Appiah founded and run a club in Accra. Kingston’s son plays for them. Ghanaian second or third tier

Thanks for that. I often wonder about ex-players. I've just looked him up and he's now 41. Tempus fugit. I'd forgotten the controversy with Csaba Laslo dropping him.

He did score a few good goals. His free kicks were Kingsley-esque, but he could do other stuff as shown on this clip (two of which were set up by Andy Driver):-

All the good stuff has been completely erased from my memory after his crappy attitude at the end of his time with us.

Fair comment, but the only strength I'd attribute to him is his aggression in attacking the ball, mostly in the air. That can't be enough to justify an international call up, when there are weaknesses that will see strikers at that level leave him for dead.

Someone being a Hibby?

He played well but man of the match? No chance.

Hickey, Gordon, Hendrie and McGregor were all better than him.

Fair enough.

He was outstanding on debut. Late tackle saved the day too.

Of course I want him to cause Hibs to lose every game.

But putting that aside this could be a massive turning point for him. He's stepped up, concentrated for 90 minutes and avoided his normal stupidity.

Away from the tramps for zero next summer.  Big massive Hibee one of their own Porto.  We should offer a contract.

He’s only over rated by Hibs fans.  All club fans do the same including ours.  Most see him as a cheating **** up rent a gub.  I actually hope he goes south and becomes brilliant.  They always seem to get good money for their players and we don’t and I’m bitter so him bumping them and leaving for **** all then becoming a £5m player would be delightful.

They should get a development fee for him next summer, if they remember to offer him a new contract oh better terms 😆.

Surely no professional club would make such a schoolboy error!

He had a decent game but the majority of their chances came from Porteous either being caught under the ball or getting too tight. He makes a great tackle at the end it’s incredibly risky but he got it spot on although  he’s the wrong side of the attacker to start with. Jack Henry did his job covering for the inexperienced Porteous a few times and Gordon’s bailed them all out a couple of times, which is fairly standard in any game Big Craig takes to the pitch. A decent debut in a high pressure game.

He got caught under the ball on a few occasions. His instinct is to blame those around him, including the captain at one stage!

Yeah I noticed him looking at Hickey when he was out of position as Taylor covered for him Yarmalenko missed the sitter.
Fortunate not to cause a defeat but no doubt will be a world beater now.

He's brimming with self confidence. If you're going to defend on your 18 yard line and you want someone to face the play and header things he'll do ok. Play a high line and have him on the turn facing his own goal and he's floundering.

He's forever gesturing to opponents to beat it. You'd think he's played 600+ games at the highest level when you watch his antics and demeanor.

He's a prick.

Said it before, he’s a good defender when the game is played in front of him. Turn him and he is as good as most guys plying their trade in the Scottish Championship. Glad he did well tonight though.
