Given he was one of our primary targets according to Robbie.  Maybe Kio is being brought in to play right centre back…. Would make some sense as presumably we want a ball playing centre back like Souttar was…

Should loans be scrapped full stop? Same logic would apply if you go

large scale, say Man City loaned a striker to Napoli in the hope of harming Liverpool in the Champions League?

League fixtures are pre arranged. CL format could be easily controlled.

So logically yes .

Anything that can be manipulated, as in loan system, shouldn't be allowed

Certainly useful to have the option but it's a starting rcb we need imo. That's if we're going to play 343, if we drop that then we're okay.

To be fair, for Martin Boyle, who already had the right to work in the country.

Yeah just thought I would have a moan 🤨

To be fair there was more of an issue about the Saturday registration. Similar to the Scott Sinclair saga when signed last minute and playing next day

If Boyle has a uk passport or citizenship he didnt need a work permit. Kio does.

Don’t think it’s 100% off. Might come down to finances

Hearts are expected to be busy in the transfer market before the window closes on Thursday as they bid to replenish their squad following the injury news.

"We've had a lot of dialogue over the last few weeks (about recruitment) but we spoke again yesterday and had a discussion about what we need to bring in," said Neilson. "The injuries mean we maybe have to be a bit more aggressive in the market but we want quality, not quantity.

How often are we going to roll out the quality over quantity line? Its this seasons

"Bit of a coup"

Every club stives for quality.

If you really want to know how our policy is different from other clubs, kindly look at Hibs' roster at the moment.

To be fair, it’s a reasonable enough line. The suggestion being that we are only going to sign players who improve the squad, rather than just to make up the numbers. The trouble is that after the recent injuries, we need to do both. We don’t have the same luxury of waiting for the right deal.

I think Robbie is also trying to play down the fact we are desperate to get players in so that other clubs don't become impossible to deal with. Just like when we sell a player clubs know we have cash to spend.

It is in direct proportion to how often folk post “FFS Neilson, just ****ing sign someone” on the internet.

He does it twice if someone mentions Lafferty or Cummings.
