Apart from Europe regularly and Scottish cups 👍🏻

My point was we need to have better quality players to achieve things, average players won’t help us get where we want to go.

Rangers signing Amad Diallo on loan from Man Utd.

Was set to sign for PSV on loan in the summer for a year but was injured days before being finalised.

Was class for Atalanta in the champions league.

Hibs reportedly are signing another Norwegian youngster from Bodo/Glimt, Runar Hauge. 20 year old who is listed as a striker on wikipedia and a left winger on Transfermarkt. Was on loan to another top tier Norwegian side last season.

As long as he applies himself correctly he should be a very good loan signing for them

Has just been confirmed he has signed.

Spoke to a Man U fan about him, he says he is a fantastic dribbler but worries he might be too lightweight.

Funnily enough, the Man U fan I spoke to (who also watches Scottish football) mentioned that he worries he will be another Musonda. To me it often comes down to attitude from the player, if the player comes with belief in their talent but awareness that they have to work hard as the league is harder some think then they should do well. If they come with the belief that they are too good for the league so it will be easy then they fail (as we have seen happen to soo many players, young and old, who then go to the English press after they fail saying it because Scottish football is a terrible standard.)

Diallo is a very good player.  He was fabulous for Atalanta.. I think they paid about 25million for him..

It was €25m rising to €40 if he progresses.

👍🏻 Sadly confirms this kid isn’t average.  Though a lot will depend on how he settles

Jesus what is your problem with Nielson? He wasn't a world beater but was a really solid right back, very rarely got beat despite having little pace and was strong in the tackle. There is little doubt that there were more talented players to wear the captain armband but very few who would have given more

Neilson played the entire season for arguably our best ever team. Scottish cup winner, 16 European appearances, played for Scotland. Yes he wasn’t a naturally gifted footballer. But in a similar fashion to Gary Neville, achieved all he did by pure hard work. That’s something to be admired imo.

When was he 'fabulous' for Atalanta? Hardly played a game for them before Man U swooped in...

Hibs seem determined to build the most inexperienced, powderpuff squad in spfl history.

Their only two remotely combative players are Gogic (shite) and Porteous (shite and a liability, and thinks he’s brilliant which makes him even more of a liability).

We’ve seen these guys arrive with huge reps and do nothing. The key thing is will he be up for it or will he be pissed off to be playing in Dingwall and Paisley instead of Old Trafford and Wembley.

My problem is he was an awful player for ten years who teams let have ball because he couldn’t do anything with it, the kind of player lauded by half of our support that has seen us under perform considering our status in the game. Players like him and guys like Halliday, good honest triers get you nowhere.

Rubbish and good to see the real Pasquale back. You know fine well he was not an awful player but as you can't really have a go at him as a manager you shoehorn him into this thread.

"Get you nowhere."

Bob with Hearts - 10 years a player, Sc winner, 3rd in the league, European group stages.

You are a card, you need to dial the seethe on Bob way down. Your need to slag him  used to be funny, but now it's a bit worrying.

Not healthy for a grown man.

I love Hibs fans excuses now for Porteous " he is a marked man in Scotland now , great player but needs to get out " totally ignoring the fact he is shite and an animal.

Not according to transfermarkt only one 22 minute appearance in CL for Atalanta and 5 appearances total for them amassing around 60 mons of playing time.

Tom Hardy’s Dug

One thing that is good about our smaller squad approach is that we can sell the chances of more game time to players that actually want to play.

Would you rather be one of 20, 30 or 40?

I think hibs are in the process or repeating most of the mistakes we’ve been making for years..

scattergun, too many players resulting in an unbalanced squad

Is Gogic not away? Thought they had punted him.

Hmm maybe it was someone else I was thinking of Milky. I remember seeing something when he signed for Man Utd - maybe it was youth Champions League games.

St Johnstone at the moment feel like us two seasons ago, throwing anything at the wall hoping something will get us out of relegation,

Thats a good signing for Inverness, Aberdeen had him on loan first half of the season, may have not got the game time at Aberdeen to fit there but will do well for Inverness.
