Some on here called it sniffles as well. Cretins.

For the vast percentage of people it was the “sniffles “

Sorry to hear that, hope you get better soon.

It's rampant at the moment again.

I was lucky and only had brain fog for a couple of days,  not that anyone noticed.

Cheers.

Just hoping there’s no longer effects.

Time will tell !

I’ll just stay out of the way of the general public for the foreseeable.

But a sensible person wouldn't call it dismissively as sniffles thus diminishing the impact on others.

That clearly wasn't the context in which most people were saying it on this thread. It was used to diminish the dangers of the virus and the responses to it.

Nope it was an objective opinion about it . A realistic opinion.

That sounds disingenuous to me. Despite it not being fatal to a lot of people, it resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people and long term health impacts for millions.

An objective outlook wouldn't have called it sniffles, that was a dog whistling term parroted by the lockdown sceptics (and long covid refuseniks) on this board.

Mocking peoples mental health isn't very nice. I did that as  i was highly anxious at that period of time and it was evidence that my mental health was suffering.  There are some good threads on this forum just now about suicide ,  depression and mental health where people have opened up about their vulnerabilities. Comments like that from you can make people less likely to be able to express how their mental health is if it judged or mocked. Have a word with yourself. That was a low blow.

The trouble is that governments have stop collecting data as much on it.

But anecdotal evidence is showing reinfection in as little as four weeks.

Was reading about it this morning.

It's more to do with the virus being able to hide from antibodies etc.

We are going to have to decide how we live with this .

Don't want to draw the thread into conspiracy theory territory but it's ability to mutate if anyone knows is this unusual?

It just seems pretty weaponised.

You should record the non wearing  selfish twits and shame them on the match day thread .

2 season ban for non wask wearers . Do you agree or should it be a 5 season ban ?

Covid is no more of a threat than the cold or flu. If you're at risk take some precautions but don't expect endless jabs to be taken up by the masses.
