I’ll be London in a bit for a bit, so a city I normally detest has become incredibly appealing.😀 I guess the issue is stats are stats, they don’t represent real world issue in many ways (I have had a impromptu BBQ today and a few beers and the likes so excuse me for lack of succinctness and my inability to express my thoughts 😔) they are just a indication of trends. Not every 30 something is healthy, especially in this country, quite the opposite in fact. It’s not as clean cut as that, there are a lots of intersecting factors such as weight, physical activity, medical conditions etc. A fit 65 year old v a fat **** of a 30 year old is a very different risk profile,🤷🏻♂️. My personal belief, if to move forward we need to accept it gets worse before it gets better. The plan was to vaccinate and (it sounds heartless) we are at diminishing return point now. Unfortunately, that the only way we can move forward is to accept their will be collateral damage. Some people find that easier to accept than others. So I guess I agree with you 🙈 As an aside why do you detest London?

Covid isn’t the only game in town FF makes a fair point - I think the point is not that people are not entitled to complain - its just that its a little self defeating/disingenious for people who ignore the restrictions to complain in the scenario where Hospitalisations are increasing possibly through such actions. If delved into little further its also clear that 'Long Covid' is in fact developing even more as another major concern and unfortunately it now seems to be hitting younger age groups fairly badly in appreciable numbers. All of this is I am afraid to say going to hit the NHS capabilty to recover the position to pre covid levels - people need to be kind and considerate to each other even more now that we are reaching more of an endgame on this Pandemic and that means adhering to Public Health requirements. You are absolutely right that Covid isn't the only game in town - the problem is its new game which is using up an incredible amount of the playing areas which older games used to use. The events and entertainment industry in Scotland is on its knees. After the Summer Sessions in Princess St were moved to 2022 as well. No doubt the 80s festival in Dalkeith on the 28th August will be next to be postponed. Had so much hope that these gigs would be a nice incentive waiting at the end of the vaccinations and lockdown exit. Instead they all get binned and we get to draw lots to see if we can sit and watch a match.

Governor Tarkin
There was a wee lassie on the news last night with covid toes. She seemed to be in a bit of discomfort and it was a bloody shame. She'd never been diagnosed with covid, and never had any covid symptoms until her toes became swollen and sore. Now I'm not saying that what she has isn't covid related, but most of us will at some time have suffered from an ailment which doctors couldn't put their finger on. I would hazard that from now on, many of those ailments will in some way be attributed to covid.
