We have all been stung at some point by YT clips but he does look something else, in fact at first I thought too good for us! So with 50  years experience of watching Hearts can I say......welcome and please be as good as the clips.

Is this to do with transfer deadlines then?

No. Just moving to a different association.

Nah. FA basically just need to confirm all is above board and transfer his registration to SFA. Standard practice for any transfer between two different associations.

Something that bothered me last season, and so far in this one, is the amount of times a good tackle is made in midfield/defence but the ball is not retained. Often there are sufficient Hearts players around the ball but still it ends up back with the opposition or goes out of play for a throw to them. Not only are the opposition regaining possession, the opportunity for a counter-attack is lost. If Damour (and hopefully Whelan) can put an end to this by tackling and retaining possession, then I believe we will have taken a major step forward with this (these) signing(s). They might not be creative, but they both look like the players to stop the opposition being so while getting the ball to the players who can create (hopefully) enough chances to make a difference.

Haring was brilliant as this before his injury made a major difference early last season he was just in the right place for second balls of any kind....

Surprised no one has posted the Sisterfister.net reaction on here yet.  I'm sure some it would be quite amusing

Seems to be nicknamed pivot by the Cardiff fans, all of which seem to be wishing him the best.

Could be the midfielder we’ve been missing

Just lots of denial and everyone piling on to the two posters who dared to say that Halkett and Damour are good signings. 😄

Haring is possibly our greatest asset a key player in midfield. The lads been exceptional top class. His come back will make it all clear sooth so many pains. What a signing 10/10

Deep joy.  Thought they'd be happy 🙂

GTF Yam, Halkett is shite and we’d be raging if we signed Damour. The usual pish and wind really. Inbred cretinous wank-socks.

😄

Based on him being a regular in Cardiff's promotion season, this should be a good signing. His CV before that however, has very little to write home about.

What does international clearance mean? He is French if he wants to sign for us he can as at this moment in time were are part of the EU?

Cross border transfer. To check everything is in order, qualifies to play, suspensions transferred etc.

There is some good stuff online.

I agree rumours lead to investigation  and ITK how. Online is so much better than Offline.

He gets tied to a chair in the Gorgie suite and Gary Locke bellows incoherently at him in Bonnyriggese, whilst beating the living French out of him.

Player transferring not only clubs but FA's as well.

Paperwork needs to be with Scottish fa not English fa.

Football thing, nothing to do with the EU.

Phil D. Corners

Comes across well in his interview.

Looks like Dikamona helped a lot with the transfer. Might be the assist of the season.

Has anyone called him lazy yet

Lockie did at his induction beating, but Loic thought he was calling him a lady bar steward.

Think this guy could be the real deal for us.  Players around will need to show attacking intent but with Naisy looking for the pass it’s looking promising.

He'll still need the same.

Dunno even know why they say it.

May as well say

"Transfer Depending on getting correct shirt size"

Will be interesting to see the team/formation Levein decides on tomorrow. We'll have to play White so that'll be an interesting watch considering the length of time he's been out, then there's Damour in the middle but with who? Will Naisy be upfront alongside Uche or will Washington start? And what about Walker? Where does Clare fit in? Oh, and Mulraney? Could be a very interesting line-up tomorrow and I am looking forward to seeing how it all pans out.

Nobody hands out 4 year deals unless you are good

This guy sounds like the real deal

A coup I'd say

The longer term deal is obviously an incentive for the player as we'll be playing less per week.

Helps us reach a little further.

Contract length v Contract value.

Indeed, and he called his pub 'The Pivot', too. A genuine, 100%, centre-half.

In the days when there was only ONE on the pitch.

The days of the double W formation. 2 full- backs, 2 half-back and a centre-half in the middle...heady days.
