Ian Sneddon.

Otherwise known as Flasher Sneddon after an alleged incident, on a train, if I remember correctly.

Safet Susic scoring for PSG in Paris I think - it didn't matter where Henry went to stand!. Susic was a fantastic player and starred in a World Cup.

That game Doddie only knew Toko was a 36 year old from Africa so put Davie Bowman to mark him. Toko was like greased lightening and we were lucky he couldn't shoot straight 😄

Too pissed to tell you how the game went. Remember the goal in the photo.

Big French crowds behind each goal, but very little elsewhere. Great Hearts support. Parc de Princes was great stadium back then, British stadia was mainly terraced then.

Pigalle was a laugh to stay in.

Waldo came down for a walk and shake hands. Great time.

Busby scores

Looks like a goal against.

Aberdeen at Pittodrie? Fans celebrating in the background.

The strip suggests Motherwell. But I still think Pittodrie.

I found a copy of this picture in a drawer the other day. It has all the players autographs on the back. Some of them I am having trouble identifying though. If I can figure out how to get a decent picture of it taken I will maybe upload it and hopefully some of you chaps can help me match the autograph to the player.

Neil Irvine, silver middle back row. Gary Sutherland, silver bottom row far left. The lad in middle bottom row silver played in the same Salvie team as Irvine and Sutherland but can’t remember his name.

Christmas Day 1971, Celtic won 3-2, Veitch, Winchester Cruikshank and Jim Brown the Hearts players.. ?

Celtic players Billy McNeil, Jimmy Johnstone and possibly Harry Hood or Dixie Dean's.

Yes, Prentice trudging off after being sent off for a simple trip on McGrain. The same McGrain who'd had a couple of good first half kicks at Rab. Dalglish conned the penalty winner by pulling John Gallacher down then shouting to the ref.  McGrain & Dalglish could do no wrong in the eyes of the Glasgow media

Agree it is Pittodrie, but not sure it's that match. Clune is wearing no.6 and Don Murray wore that jersey.  Could it be Ian Fleming scoring for Aberdeen in the league match on 04/09/76 as Clunie wore no.6 that day?

Clunie played more often number 2  (as in Cruickshank, Clunie, Oliver,..) but he sometimes played in midfield.

My mind might be playing tricks on me here as I was a nipper when Clunie was playing for Hearts but I had him down as a left back for some reason with Roy Kay right back

I really got them wrong.

I thought next to O'Connor was Malcolm Murray. And far bottom was Crabbo.

Please tell me im not wrong with Jimmy  Sandison.  :laugh2:

I honestly can't remember. Maybe Kay at right back and Clunie into midfield?

I think that this is the East of Scotland Shield match in August 1980 and if it is his name was Jim Campbell.
