There was a game where they donated a car as a prize in a raffle, drawn at half-time I think.    That may have been the year before their name went on the shirts... not sure though.

Is that Alex Ferguson ?  Who's jumping over him ?

Cup winner in 68 and had a brief supporting role with Hearts in the 70s

Gerry McCoy?

Scored a few in his career.

Prolific for Queen's Park, Falkirk, Dumbarton and Thistle

Maybe the wrong time as far as his Hearts career

Denis McQuade (11)

He scored 2 beauties, this one to help beat the vermin in the cup and an absolute rasper to give us a rare win at Pittodrie.

May have become a monk

Overall never did a lot seem to remember not here for long, without being a spoiler.

Hmm, vs Hibs not a league game? We had a wee - very wee- run of good results including that one (2-1)

His stance looked just like Derek O'Connor, who scored the other goal that day !!    McQuade was the 1st of 2   LC winning Thistle players we signed  (and they both scored in the final too).

Michael McDonald played 4 times at Tynecastle for Hibs - this pic was on a sunny day, if that helps pin it down. At a guess, I'd say the blond chap (Clunie look-alike) is one of the Gordon Smiths we've had. That would make it the game in August 1978 - he came on as a sub.

Graham Weir, against Bordeaux at Tynecastle. Guessing no 21 could be Pocchettino.

Looks a bit earlier than 78. Maybe as early as 70?

Can't remember Sneddon with a tash. Is it  Pittodrie with Drew Jarvie second from right? Doesn't look like Tynecastle.
