A crowd of 63,000 is in prospect.  Not saying we'll get there but it's clearly in prospect.

That is fantastic.

Ann Budge said tonight we had sold between 27.5 and 28k  at ‘end of play’ today ( Thursday)

You didn't by any chance, ask her about filling the corners in at Tynecastle? ?

Didn’t want to start a new thread for this so this is as good a place as any I guess, what is the new email address to get birthday mentions at half time? Not sure if it will be a different one for Murrayfield I would use but I’m guessing it probably will be seeing as it’s not technically a home game for us. Any help appreciated ??

I'm a wee bit cautious about the number of debentures. SFA guests, etc that will attend. There does appear to be around 4,000 seats that haven't been given to Hearts or Celtic, and not used for segregation. I'm just not sure that 4,000 will actually be there.

It must also be a dilemma for Lord WIllie Haughey whether or not to set foot in Murrayfield given his largesse on behalf of Hampden and the whole 'football belongs to Glasgow' nonsense. Would absolutely love Hearts to produce a masterclass on Sunday, and for Murrayfield to prove to be the backdrop to the best possible football atmosphere. It's definitely our opportunity to get Edinburgh football firmly on the map.

This ‘journalist’ implies that there won’t be corporate seats at the game. However it being the Daily Record and the state of the article makes me question that.

Not a bad article, to be fair

am still mystified at the whereabouts of the 5000 or so ‘missing’ tickets. Were they sent directly to debenture holders - or offered to them for sale? And given that our tickets reach close to the half-way line in both stands, where are these seats, anyway?

Just to put our impressive numbers for this game into perspective. With 14,000 season ticket holders we have sold double this for the semi. Celtic have over 50,000 season ticket holders. Question if they had double the number of this, do you think they could have sold 100,000 tickets for this game? Well done Jambo's for this impressive turnout!

There are definitely a chunk of SFA/SPFL tickets with hospitality. I know some who have them. Hibs supporters as well

Hibs supporters going to see their big team! Met a Celtic fan the other day who described Hibs as his other Scottish team. Sickening couple of clubs.

So Jalbo's count last night in the West stand was:

West Stand - currently selling everything except W6 upper and W8:

Allocation currently on sale: approx 12224

Seats remaining:  458

Seats apparently sold - West Stand: 11766

That means 458 less 374 = 84 sold since last night at 10pm

What's left in W6 and how many does W8 hold?

They’re starting to fly now. 3 rows at the back of W4 were empty until about 30 mins ago. Almost gone now.

I think it's around 1800 left to go on sale in W6 and W8, so we should be over 28,000 sales to date if you include the Wheelchair users etc.

My Brain is broken...

Does that mean its the 374 from Bn Jambo plus the 1794 still to sell (2172 left)?

Edit: You know what, I'm just gonna wait for the @Jalbo count later.

Just for you , in the style of Jalbo :)

West Stand - currently selling everything except W6 upper and W8:

Allocation currently on sale: approx 12224

Seats remaining:  306

Seats apparently sold - West Stand: 11918

Hearts End (South Stand) - currently selling everything

Allocation currently on sale: approx 11588

Seats remaining:  6

Seats apparently sold - South Stand: 11582

East Stand - currently selling everything

Allocation currently on sale: approx 4757

Seats remaining:  0

Seats apparently sold - East Stand: 4757

Total seats currently made available for sale: 28,569

Total seats remaining: 312

Total seats apparently sold with the usual caveats:  28,257**

**Including grey'd out hospitality, wheelchair, blind and PA sales, it looks as if we could currently be around 28,400 tickets sold.

The remains sections to go on sale are W6 upper and W8. The combined capacity of the seats not yet released in W6 and the whole of W8 is 1,794. Combined with the estimated  allocation of hospitality, wheelchair, blind and PA seats it looks as if our allocation was a little higher than previously estimated at 30,550 or thereabouts.

Total tickets left, including those unsold in current sections, is 2106.

Well done mate. You know whats thrown me is I always thought we got 30,000 tickets but it seems we got around 30,500(ish) as you mention above.

Be VERY interesting to see what @Jalbo comes up with this evening.

I’d expect that once around another hundred are sold in W6 it will be time to either make all remaining seats in W6 available or open up the front few rows in W8 or ideally if the rate of sale is high both!!

C’mon Jambos everywhere buy buy buy!!

we could not commit to buy until today so I got 5 at TO this am.Sales seem to have slowed down and not too were many buying. It would be good to start selling in the lower rows  in W8.If we are to fall short by a section it would be better visually to have W6 and W8 half full.

I think that's inevitable as most people will have bought by now - the main way we can sell more now is if people encourage friends who haven't bought yet or offer to buy for those they know who don't have a purchase history.

I agree re releasing lower W8 - would look better

I think from looking at it now another few rows in W6 have been opened slow and steady today. do we have any flags to cover w8 these days? (or atleast part of W8)

I think EE to HH were opened, yes.

With regard tot he second point i think that's been discussed here already and I think the answer is it would be too late to get permissions, organise etc.

We may be allowed to spread into it , or if not it would be good to sell the lower part next

thanks for the info, yeah i think it would be a good idea to open the lower section of w8, i can imagine some people will just naturally spread out

Just bought 4 tickets over the phone, it took an hour and twenty minutes to get through, probably lots of people are in the same situation as i was, waiting for payday to purchase tickets, the dude on the phone said the phone has never stopped all day, so I’ll be surprised if there’s any tickets after tonight,

Same here. I still have the programme somewhere in the house. It's in some state what with the soaking it took that day and the passage of time.

I had a white raincoat on that day it turned pink because of my maroon rosette running with water on it.  Mum was not amused.

I often have a smile to myself when I remember my old dad arguing with a Killie fan as we we were leaving the ground,

OF COURSE IT WAS OFFSIDE SAYS DAD (it was handball actually well maybe) ☺
