I didn't think we'd get over 25k so I hope I'm wrong again and we manage to shift the lot!

JALBO
'evening all, 10pm count: West Stand - currently selling everything except W6 and W8: Allocation currently on sale: approx 11485 Seats remaining: 604 Seats apparently sold - West Stand: 10881 Hearts End (South Stand) - currently selling everything Allocation currently on sale: approx 11588 Seats remaining: 35 Seats apparently sold - South Stand: 11553 East Stand - currently selling everything Allocation currently on sale: approx 4757 Seats remaining: 0 Seats apparently sold - East Stand: 4757 Total seats currently made available for sale: 27,830 Total seats remaining: 639 Total seats apparently sold with the usual caveats: 27,191** **Including grey'd out hospitality, wheelchair, blind and PA sales, it looks as if we could currently be around 27,500 tickets sold. The remains sections to go on sale are W6, W8. The combined capacity of those two sections is 2,234 suggesting our total allocation could be just under 30,400 including hospitality, wheelchair, blind and PA seats. So total tickets left, including those unsold in current sections, is 2,873. Including the approx 170 seats released today in the West (and a single row in the East), we've sold around 757 since yesterday teatime - if that becomes our average between tomorrow and Saturday, we'll sell all our tickets. Without trying to get ahead of ourselves, the total allocation between the clubs appears to be 62,000, with just under 1,000 for segregation, suggesting there's about 4,000 tickets for SFA/SRU guests, debenture holders and so on. There is now a possibility that this match could see the highest ever attendance for a football match in Edinburgh IF we can indeed sell the least couple of sections out and IF the SFA/SRU seats are filled. Caveats to be applied of course!

As far as I can see, segregation is taking up 928 seats, which leaves around 66,150 usable seats once the limited-view seats near the screens at either end are taken into account .IF both clubs sell their entire allocations, AND all other seats are filled by the the SFA/SRU., it looks to me as if we can eclipse the 1950 Derby which currently holds the record. However, there may well be things we just don't know that may render that possibility un-achievable.

Gorgie_Rules
Not sure last nights result will make any difference, going by how the last few months have gone it would be strange that an away win to Dundee is the tipping point at which someone decides to buy a ticket. As the game nears and media build up starts there may well be a few fans deciding to go who don’t usually go to games picking up tickets later on the week.
