Interesting to hear how the medical goes. I imagine it will be in depth.

Cant be a loan no. He'd need to have a club to be loaned from.

Hope it’s a pay as you play incentivised deal until January. Will soon see if he’s motivated to work hard and get himself a starting place as he’s barely kicked a ball in the last couple of seasons. If he’s committed and wants to be part of this new side he could be a useful acquisition.

Apologies. Didn't realise Sow was a free agent. Thought he was still under contract at MK

Yes he did well for us before but he has done nothing of note (been crap) since he left us. Also he's been injured a lot. Personally I would rather be spending the money on an old grizzled centre half (McAuley) but I believe in CL. I trust his decisions

Some players are just suited to certain clubs. I believe Osman Sow's is Heart of Midlothian and vice versa.

The way things are going we are going to have a frightening front line! And who says Levein is defence minded!!

Was just thinking that

We should never have sold him. Know we got a big fee but I still see selling Osman as one of the biggest mistakes made by Hearts in the Budge era.

Remains to be seen the impact the last 2 years of failure will have had on his confidence

Is there reason to believe that won’t happen as well?

Loved him when he was here so if he can get fit then happy days. Very similar player to Lafferty and loved a wonder goal against the smellies too.

prefer him as a football player to Lafferty. Maybe not as many goals, but will score a few

Sow had a better scoring rate in the Premiership than Lafferty:

Sow 9 goals in 23 appearances.

Lafferty 12 goals in 35 appearances.

Still under contract for another year at MK Dons. Would happily take a year long loan with view of permanent if he performs.

He only had 5 months of his contract left, selling him for over £1million was a no brainer.

the big mistake was not playing him in the derby before he left.

It is a done deal - my mate works for the club and told me this morning that there would be signings news today, guessed about every person on the planet apart from Osman Sow!!!

Hope it is just as good second time round

Apologies, thought the OP said he was out of contract. Maybe a season loan with a view to a permanent contract then.

1 goal will get his confidence back and we are better setup to provide chances for him.

No need for apologies I too thought he was a free agent.

That's my concern. If he stays fit then he is a great signing. Will work well off Naismith, McLaren, and Ikpeazu. But his injury record has meant he has had problems.

I don’t see it that way

We were left with a pile of cash and Hibs on their way to winning the cup.

Then we spent that £1m in wages for Dauda, then Watt, and Sammon ?

Should have just kept Sow for the 5 months and let him go for free.

IIRC, he also had a bad time with injury before he came to us but had no major injuries when playing for the Famous.

Welcome back Osman.

Or we should have reinvested the money better.

We couldn’t turn that sort of money.

No doubting the boys quality, just hope his fitness doesn't hamper his ability.

I said last week that we should move on from signing previous players, but having a fit Sow will certainly make us stronger.

We rebuilt him before. If we do it again and get him back to where he was he should be eternally grateful to us and provide us years of glorious servitude.

Welcome baco Osman. Loved you the last time.

As others have said if injury free and fit would be excellent signing! Don't see point of spending money on Czech lad when he comes free in 4 months

Apart from Vanecek is match fit and scoring goals and we just sold out top scorer
