Looks like Craigleith Road looking down towards Flora Stevenson School? Not 100% sure though.

Yes, looks like it. That's where I thought it was as well.

Look at those petrol prices!!

:vrwow:  used to go there when I started taxis. No wonder my earnings are going down.

Drybroughs Brewery. Craigmillar.

I read there were seven breweries in Craigmillar alone at one point around 1900.

I'm not too sure on this one.

Aye it's Craigleith Road. The clock tower at Flora Stevenson's is covered in scaffolding. The big chimney in the background is Glenogle swimming baths.

Could it be the old Dalkeith Rd at Danderhall or Drum St at Gilmerton. There seems to be a bus terminal up ahead.

Cheers - got it pictured now. The Royal Vic would be on the left side heading down towards the roundabout

It could be the Gilmerton bus terminus

Eastfield terminus

Regent Road Post Office instead of the route on the 26. Strange

That's because, in those days, the 26 went up Montrose terrace and along Regent road. The stop in Waterloo Place would serve the GPO which then, was very much still in operation.

I thought those turnstiles on the left, I thought they were installed at the same time as the Wheatfield but obviously not. They look like they’ve been there a while when this pic was taken.

Looks like the hotel was not there unless the trees are hiding it. I still take the pooch up the hill on the left from time to time so it did look very familiar even in black and white.

That is definitely Leith Central as it featured in Trainspotting. Princes St had a slight bend in the tracks and the side walls. I say that from pictures as I am not that old. ?

Definitely not Danderhall and pretty certain it's not Gilmerton either.
