To quote Steely Dan, I'm never going back to my old school.

Seconded, when I looked at the range of photos of that place I didn’t have glorious memories

Found in our attic recently an EEN Supplement about the 60s published 15/2/1993

Had to laugh at the bit about bikes making a comeback

There was an earlier picture of that visit, and I was in it. If you look up to the left I was one of the policemen on the road, one  of my segeants Kenny Macdonald was behind me, there was a shoe shop right  there.

Widows. As depressing then as when I worked there

I walked past there the other week and seen that the pool outside had been drained. Is it up for redevelopment?

They used to do that fairly regularly when I was there, to clean out the rubbish, weeds and general muck.

A boozer without windows hides a multitude of sins.

I hear it was a bit rough in there at times.....

I never set foot in the place but I'm sure a few on here have.

What a wonderful thread this is.

I used to go in the Busy Bee Friday lunchtime with colleagues from tax office government buildings at Broomhouse it was always okay but seemingly at night it was ruff as feck
