On another note, Steven Fletcher was a name mentioned before, wonder if his name will have popped up again? For the record, none of the above is concrete this window, to my knowledge. The more recent two veterans we've signed, Cowie and Hughes, have been such big 'mistakes' that we wanted to extend their deals. I'm not ruling anyone out based on age and as long as we keep hold of Naismith and Lafferty we'll do well to have someone of his quality as back up. Very low risk and I assume relatively low salary which would allow for funds to be spent in the critical areas which are GK, LB and midfield.
