Not really any important games today, 2 Semi Final 1st legs in Azerbaijan and Czech Republic, we want Neftci Baku and Jablonec to not win their Cups.

The only league game today is in Serbia, we need Red Star to win the league, if they win today, they're 12 clear and 2nd only has 4 games left. Virtually sealed.

Jablonec 2-0 up after the 1st leg. Neftci come back from a goal down to draw their Semi final 1st leg 1-1.

Red Star 1 down at half time. 6 points between the top-2 if they lose this one.

Today's games - Thursday 28th April

Bulgaria

Levski Sofia v Cherno More, 5.30pm kick off

We need Ludogorets to win the league, Levski are 2nd, 14 points behind with 6 games left. A Levski Sofia draw or loss would mean a seeding place could be confirmed tomorrow with a Ludogorets win at home to the bottom team.

Poland

Lech Poznan v Lechia Gdansk, 5pm kick off

We need Lech Poznan to finish outside the top-4 and lose the Cup Final. They're 7th, 2 points behind Lechia Gdansk (6th) and 4 points behind 4th. There's 4 games left.

Zaglebie Lubin v Legia Warsaw, 5pm kick off.

We need Legia Warsaw to win the league, they're 3 clear at the top with 4 to play.

Both Polish games will be streamed on bet365.

Thats quite dreamy.

So essentially if we played a blinder and by some miracle made it to the group stages, then the new stand is all but bought and paid for with us enjoying the journey to those sweet sweet funds every step of the way!

Thats why i'd rather get the easiest draws / league. We should sell out the easy games anyway so it would be great to pick up the prize money as we go.

This. Loving your work Statto but I've got lost - are we talking seeding confirmed for 1st round (should be in the bag anyway?) or 2nd round (which would be a massive bonus)?

All the updates are to be seeded in the 2nd round. We need 10 out of 27 things to go our way to be seeded.

We're definitely seeded in the 1st qualifying round.

What a bad couple of days of results for us.

Here's the next 2 days of fixtures and what we need.

Friday 29th April

Croatia

Inter Zapresic v Lokomotiva Zagreb, 5pm kick off

We need Lokomotiva to finish 4th and Dinamo Zagreb win the Cup. 4th could be sealed on Sunday. They're 5 ahead with 3 to play.

Czech Republic

Vysocina Jihlava v Mlada Boleslav, 5pm kick off

We need either Slavia or Zbrojovka to finish 5th and Jablonec to not win the Cup, a Boleslav win means neither can finish top-3. The 5th place could be confirmed on Sunday.

Moldova

Dacia v Dinamo-Auto, 2pm kick off

Sheriff v Zaria, 4pm kick off

We need Sheriff to win the league, they're 3 behind Dacia with 4 games to play. They face each other on the last game of the season, May 20th.

Saturday 30th April

Scotland

Hearts v Celtic, 12.30pm kick off

We want a Hearts win, always.

Aberdeen v Motherwell, 3pm kick off

If Aberdeen take less points from this game than Celtic got in the early kick off, a seeding place is confirmed  :sunny:  :sunny:  :sunny:

Albania

Partizan Tirana v Terbuni Puke, 6pm kick off

Skenderbeu Korce v Bylis Ballsh, 6pm kick off

We need Skenderbeu to win the league, they're 2 clear of Partizan Tirana with 5 to play, they face each other in the penultimate game of the season, May 13th.

Austria

Sturm Graz v Ried, 5.30pm kick off

Admira v Rheindorf Altach, 5.30pm kick off

We need Admira to finish 4th and lose the Cup final, they're 5th, 1 point behind Sturm Graz with 4 games to play.

Denmark

Hobro v SonderjyskE, 3pm kick off

We need SonderjyskE to finish 2nd/3rd or 4th depending on the Cup winner. They're currently 3 points ahead of 4th with 7 games to go.

Hungary

Ujpest v Videoton, 3.30pm kick off

Bekescsaba v Debrecen, 3.30pm kick off

Szombathelyi v Ferencvaros, 3.30pm kick off

MTK v Vasas, 3.30pm kick off

This is the last game of the season. We need Videoton (2nd 52pts) to finish outside the top-3 (or top-4 if Ferencvaros win the Cup) for 1 seeding place. We also need Debrecen (3rd 52pts) to finish outside the top-3 (or top-4 if Ferencvaros win the Cup) for another seeding place. MTK are 4th with 51 points and Szombathelyi are 5th with 50 points. Both Videoton and Debrecen have superior goal differences. If either finishes 5th, that's 1 seeding place confirmed, if either finishes 4th, we will need Ujpest to win the Cup next Friday for a seeding place.  :sunny:  :sunny:  :sunny:

Slovenia

Celje v Maribor, 3.55pm kick off

We need Maribor to win the league, they're 1 point behind with 5 games left.

Azerbaijan

13:00 Inter Baki v Sumqayit

13:30 Qabala v Neftci

We need Qarabag to win the league, an away win confirms a seeding place today, there are still 4 games left.

Man City to win the CL and finish outside the top-4. 4 clear with 2 games left but 5th has a game in hand.
Liverpool to win the EL and finish 5th/6th or 5th/6th/7th if Manchester United wins the Cup. Currently 8th, 2 points behind 7th with 2 games to go plus a game in hand.
-Spain
Villarreal to win the EL and finish 5th/6th. 3-6 clear with 2 to play.
Sevilla to win the EL, they've already qualified for next season's Europa League.

Scotland
Celtic to win the league, 9 clear with 3 to play.

Albania
Skenderbeu Korce to win the league. 2 clear with 4 to play.

Austria
Admira (4th) to finish 3rd/4th and lose the Cup Final. 1 clear of Sturm Graz (5th) with 3 games to go. Cup Final date: 19th May.

Azerbaijan
Neftci Baku to not win the Cup and finish outside the top-4 or top-5 if the Cup winners finish top-4. 10 behind 5th with 4 to go. Cup Final date: 25th May.

Bulgaria
Ludogorets to win the league. 14 clear with 5 to play.

Croatia
Lokomotiva Zagreb to finish 4th and Dinamo Zagreb win the Cup. 4 clear with 2 to go. Cup Final date: 10th May.

Czech Republic
Jablonec to not win the Cup. Semi 2nd leg: 4th May. Cup Final date: 18th May.

[2] AGF Aarhus to win the Cup Final. Cup Final date: 5th May.

Greece
Panionios to finish 4th or if they finish 3rd, AEK to finish 4th and win the Cup. Play-off dates TBA. Cup Final date: 7th May.

Israel [x2]
[1] Maccabi Tel Aviv to win the league, 3 points behind with 4 to go.
[2] Maccabi Haifa to finish outside the top-4 and lose the Cup Final. Level with 4th, behind on goal difference. Cup Final date: 23rd May.

[2] Lech Poznan to finish outside the top-4 and lose the Cup Final. 5 points behind 4th with 3 to go. Cup Final date: 2nd May.
If Poznan wins the Cup, we don't lose a seeding place (yet). I'll separate the CL and EL winner possibilities and treat them as 2 chances because if both happen, the Polish Cup winner enters QR3.

Serbia [x3]
[1] Red Star to win the league. 6 clear with 4 games left plus a game in hand.

Celtic and Ludogorets are virtually there. For Red Star it would need to be a catastrophe for them not win the league. That brings it down to 6/21. Most others are reliant on Cup Finals combined with league placings.

Israel

18:55 - Maccabi Tel Aviv v Hapoel Be'er Sheva

We need Maccabi Tel Aviv to win the league, they're 3 behind Be'er Sheva with 4 games to go. A win puts them top on goal difference.

Poland

15:00 - Lech Poznan v Legia Warsaw (Cup Final)

We need Lech Poznan to lose the Cup Final and finish outside the top-4.

Slovakia

18:00 - Trencin v Spartak Trnava

19:30 - Zilina v Slovan Bratislava

We need Bratislava to win the league ahead of Trencin but also Zilina to finish 4th ahead of Trnava. There will only be 3 games left after today. Bratislava are 6 points behind with a worse GD (10 behind), Zilina are only a point behind Trnava with a much better GD (12 ahead). Although Bratislava still have to play Trencin. There can be no disastrous result for us but no perfect result either.

Poland we now only need Lech Poznan to finish outside the top-4, they're 5 points behind with only 3 games to go.

Israel, game finished 0-0, Maccabi Haifa still 3 behind with only 3 games to go.

Slovakia, Trnava won so are 3 clear of Zilina who finished 0-0 against Bratislava who closed the gap to 5 points at the top, only 3 games to go. Not great results for us, the team furthest behind only closed the gap by 1 and the team closest to their competitors fell a further 2 behind.

On a side note

Tv for europa league

Doubtful that due to potentially (hopefully) both the ugly sisters being in europe bbc or bt will pick up our qualifiers but premier sports.might. they have covered Aberdeens last 2 early qualifiers so hopefully choose to cover us this year instead of them.

Only downsides are the subscription and the fact its only in sd not hd

Neftci have reached the final, they won 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw. Qarabag won the other Semi final so we now need them to win the Cup final and Neftci to finish outside the top-5. This could be confirmed on Saturday. The Final is May 25th.

Skenderbeu were 6-0 up at half time. Won 6-1. Partizan Tirana are 1-1 at half time. This would mean Skenderbeu are 4 clear with 3 games to go.

Europa League

20:05 - Liverpool v Villarreal, Semi final 2nd leg (0-1)

20:05 - Sevilla v Shakhtar Donetsk, Semi final 2nd leg (2-2)

We need this season's Europa League winner to qualify for next season's Europa League via their domestic league position. The Europa League winner will enter next season's Champions League. If they have already qualified for the Europa League, that position is vacated and the UEFA access list is altered from the 1st round until the round that the team would have entered. For the Europa League 2nd qualifying round, the team that will be moved to the 3rd qualifying round is the Cypriot Cup winner, both finalists are ranked above Hearts so would count towards one of the outcomes we need to be seeded for the 2nd round. Sevilla have already qualified for the Europa League so they are our best option. Both Liverpool and Villarreal could still qualify for the Europa League, Villarreal are much more likely to qualify for the Champions League though, they're 6 clear of Athletic Bilbao with 2 games left. Shakhtar have already qualified for the Champions League.
