When taking a link, I tend to go for rapidgator, usually works for me. Give it another try.

Is this for streaming or actually downloading to your device i.e. iPad?

Streaming, but it would be nice to have the download option as my iPad is 128gb and might be handy if working away from home.

Load up Debrid.

Click on account.

Account History at the bottom.

Downloads History: see

It'll bring up a list of the links you've used.

Click on the little camera icon instead of the download link and it'll stream...

Capiche?

You got RD now [emoji3]

Yup, what link can I copy and paste into my RD account thingy?

It needs to be a hoster that RD allow. Click on the link and then it'll list them.

Hold down and copy and paste into the RD box. Nitroflare have worked best for me.

I was having issues until Rab helped me out.

No doubt the seller is totally unaware of Kodi capabilities with Aftv and you had no intentions of enlighting the guy. Chester your a filthy animal.

Does anybody use any TV guide addons that they could recommend. I downloaded a nemesis build onto my aftv which had a good looking TV guide but I couldn't figure out how to add sports nation etc as the layout and options had completely changed so I've taken it off and installed the normal addons, exodus, Turks, live mix etc. But i need a TV guide to hopefully finish things off.

Yeah I use on tapp, it costs a little bit very much worth it imo, much better then any of the others I've tried.

It also has an option to link up with ultimate Mania/ sports mania / sports nation, which saves a lot of work

Thank you. Nice and easy to sort actually.

A quick Q, apols if noted elsewhere.

Looking to see if I can do something for my old boy, who only has BT for his phone.

BT seem to be offering him free broadband for a year soI was thinking of getting him a Firestick and adding Kodi and a few ad ons.  After year 1 and it was working ok, I'm sure I could get him to agree to the monthly broadband fee- or I'll pay it.  He would only ever use it to watch live football and tennis.  I'd read that Kodi wasn't great with BT who try and block.

So,

1.  Are firesticks ok with standard BT broadband, or do you really need BT Infinity?

2.  Can Kodi blocking be by passed if on BT

3.  If I don't use Kodi what are best add ons to put directly on to the firestick for sport. but I find the  I have Mobdro on mine not via Kodi, but I find it a pest to navigate.

He's nearing 80 so I just can't see him taking on anyone apart from BT, and the free broadband is the only reason he is entertaining it.

I'm on infinity, so can't comment. My mum is on Tesco/Talk Talk (not fibre optic) and kodi works fine there. She's the only one using the broadband.

Follow this to unblock kodi for bt https://seo-michael.co.uk/fix-bt-home-hub-kodi-issues/

If you don't want to pay for sportsnation, mobdro isn't too bad, although you do get adverts, but it usually works fine and easy to navigate. https://atherstech.com/2016/01/17/install-mobdro-on-amazon-fire-sticktv/

This site's good for finding which channel a game is on (could be in Croatian, but it's still a 3pm game) http://www.livesoccertv.com/ or http://liveonsat.com/quickindex.html

Edit: I find if you sort the mobdro channels alphabetically, it's easier to find channels. I only use it occasionally, though.

Just for info as I couldn't really find this question answered anywhere online but taking a Firestick abroad works great for Kodi. Can watch all the streams on hotel or other wifi.

Is it better to create your own kodi setup or use one of the many, many builds out there. I'm a little lost being a complete newbie, and don't really know where to start after downloading kodi to my aftv box. I don't have a laptop or computer, if that makes a difference, so doing it all through the box.

There are obviously loads of YouTube videos on this, but which are worth following?

Normal broadband is fine mate.

Spend an extra 30 quid and get the AFTV box. The sticks are ok I suppose but you can hard wire a box and they just work so much better and faster.

You'll need to switch off the BT equivalent of sky shield I forget what it's called but someone can advise.

It's not difficult to do it yourself by using this site as a reference...

https://seo-michael.co.uk/top-10-add-ons/

Personally I still run a build (wookie) as I like to experiment with some different ones now and again just to see what's available. I've found a few over the last month or two that never get mentioned but have loads of good stuff on there.

It's easy enough to tweak the menus etc to the set up I like too.

Personally I don't use a build, as I really only need 3 addons, exodus, salts and SM. I have tweaked a few of the settings and views so that it works for me.

All I really want is tv box sets, new and old films and live sport. Not bothered about anything else, feel most builds might have a bit too much filler. Unless I'm missing out on what else is on offer?

Exodus and Sportsmania are my 2 main ones. UK Turk for no other reason than it's got some decent stand up and documentary type programs

My brother is having issues with Kodi on his Amazon firestick.

Programmes on Exodus keeps pausing saying the cache is full. They have cleared them twice but still happening with every programme they watch. My box has never had this issue so don't really know how to help them.

Anyone encountered this? Any suggestions on how to fix?

Just seen a YouTube clip where guy seems to get plenty of proper HD and 5:1 sound links from it.

I had similar issues with a m8 box, which may or may not relate. Kept emptying the cache to no avail. Everything I watch would cut off and return me to the lists after 30 minutes. Turns out the box is a wee bit sluggish for full HD content, so most things I watch on that box are now lower standard HD or SD content. Havent had the problem since. I wouldn't be convinced about a firestick handling full HD content very well so it may be worth a try watching lower definition stuff and see if it helps. Short of that, a clean install would be my next suggestion

As the poster above you said. Exodus. SALTS (for back up when Exodus goes down) and Sportsmania or Ultimate Mania. All you need. The rest is either 'specialist' stuff, stuff youd never watch or stuff you can get with the above 3.

After a couple of months getting to grips with kodi on a cheap ?30 box, I'm going to buy a decent one today.

I'm leaning towards an Amazon Fire TV, however is there any others I should consider.

Is he using a custom build or just kodi ? Had similar issues a while back and until I uninstalled the build and went with plain kodi I couldn't resolve it. A format of the stick and reinstall of a build would work for a while but issues always came back. Could be a similar issue or something entydifferent but Ignore any advice saying the stick can't handle hd as it can no problem.

It can handle it but there's always issues with sticks I've found.

Just get a box and be done with it really is my advice. AFTV or T8 can handle everything with ease. Get one of them and you won't ever really have any issues.

I suppose it's got a HDD slot so you can download films and tv stuff plus you can get emulators for old Nintendo games etc. I haven't used mine for that though and only really bought it to compare it to my AFTV.

Tbh both boxes work brilliantly there's nowt in it. AFTV is cheaper, smaller, sleeker so if price is an issue then get that. You can't go wrong with either box though.
