Equivalently successful? Well here's the last 4 seasons in which Hibs have actually finished above Hearts in the league:

07-08 Hearts 15,930 Hibs 13,754

09-10 Hearts 14,484 Hibs 12,164

12-13 Hearts 13,163 Hibs 10,489

13-14 Hearts 14,123 Hibs 11,027

So we have roughly 20% larger average attendances, even when we're doing worse than them. So he's right, we don't get "anything like" their support - we get much more.

He'll just claim he saw empty seats on the telly and Hearts are lying about our attendances.

 these guys are on the crystal surely, it's not even worth dignifying their view by debating the subject, one glance at the record books will show that Hibernian are not, and have never matched the attendances of HMFC on anything more than an exceptional basis

The 07/08 one was even on the back of them winning the League Cup FFS!

Mere league points are nothing compared to footballing aesthetics Hackney.

Typical philistine Yam.

There's clearly not enough PHM when compared to Dortmund.

AMAZING: Out of the 55,000 season tickets on offer at Dortmund, only 93 weren't renewed for next season. Superb fans!

BBC sporf is a parody account.

How many ST have we sold TODAY dot counters?

You will need to go on to isleepwithmysister.net for the true number, as Hearts and everyone on here is lying, apparently.

at the moment there are the following availability by single seats / seats together

single seats = 443

2 together x 103 (206 seats)

3 x 31 (93 seats)

4 x 10 (40 seats)

5 x 8 (40 seats)

6 x 4 (24 seats)

7 x 1

8 x 4

9 x 1

10 x 1

that count leaves 904 available

Exquisite detail. Bravo.

Something odd has happened to my transaction. I bought a season ticket in N3 on Monday on the website on my debit card from my current account. I got an email confirming the transaction, and the seat I'd paid for, and I'm sure I checked my bank account to confirm it had come out. Today the money doesn't appear to have come out of my account or has gone back in. Has this happened to anyone else? I'm with the Clydesdale so it's not related to the RBS glitch which was reported today, at my end anyway.

The transaction comes through as an authorisation ( shows as card authorisation and the amount) to check you have the money. The merchant will then complete that part of the transaction and it will disappear from your statement. The merchant then has a second part to complete (usually takes up to a couple of days) then it will debit the account properly and show with the retailers name.

It happens with every purchase through a Clydesdale account.

Wonder if its possible to ask ST holders who are on their own to move to single seats ? Wouldn't bother me as long as it was in same area

Might be some options for people to be ask whether they mind a 'shift along' if there are two singles near each other in a row

I'm sure there's at least a few places where there are two single seats available separated by only one occupied seat. I'm sure the person in question would be willing to move along a seat in most cases if the pair either side were bought by two folk together. If not, they'd probably be willing after a few minutes of the two folk either side constantly talking past him to each other!

"Wow, I don't know what to say, but it was really a team effort, Queen Anne. Without the support of my backroom team at Jambos Kickback - and a special shout out to Footballfirst - I wouldn't be here accepting this award. This is for all of you guys. And I'd like to make a special mention to Clerry Jambo - Clerry - you're my inspiration. Thank you, and good night."

The Harp Awakes poston Hibs.net is a belter

"the great Tynie myth of having a bigger support than Hibs. They think if they say it so often it's a fact.

Edinburgh is divided right down the middle and there's nothing between the size of the respective supports. They count their home attendances differently which enhances their figures and they've been on the crest of a wave since avoiding oblivion and gaining promotion which has naturally boosted their ST sales. If we get promoted next season I reckon our average home support in 16/17 will be bigger than the jumbos."

They'll never have a bigger support than us, never.

It's like masochism isn't it.....good grief !

Genuine question, but what's the legal bare minimum that we have to give them?

Thinm he was comparing attendances before Mercer and our overspending. Rather than the years they finished above us.

He made the Mercer comment, but then followed it up with -  "A successful Hearts has never gotten anything like the support of an equivalently successful Hibs".

"Never" apparently. Before or after Mercer. And the trouble is, it's quite hard to find a 'successful Hibs' (hence my use of relative league positions) - you have to go back to the early 50s really. And they did get big average crowds then because they had that huge terracing and could get 65,000 when Hearts came to visit (and not far off for OF visits).

Whichever way you look at it, the statement he made is clearly bollocks.

Sort of confirms what I always thought . That Hibs gates in the old ER stadium were inflated by the size of the ground being able to hold thousands upon thousands of OF and Hearts fans when these teams went to ER to play Hibs.

The place was massive . I remember the OF bringing about 25000 through to ER. They brought a lot of fans to Tynecastle as well but not so many as our ground was smaller.

Ten years of leaving them behind? A decade of outperforming them, culminating in their extended stay in the first division. Shite times for a Hibs fan.
