But the question is what non-British defender would most fans be happy with, and some delighted with. Suggests that the name will be well known and is available on a free. He may not be a world beater, but he is a very good keeper and far too good to spend the next 2 or 3 years in the Scottish Championship. Would hold his own at any Scottish Premier club outside Celtic, and would be good for about half the clubs in the English Championship. I for one would not like to see him at.... (yuk).... Not seen many directly saying he wasn't good enough. Just pointing out faults in his game as is our right to do?
